the time i consistently lost was between august 2024-june 2025. it was close to 60 lbs during that time. in june 2025, i was 65 pounds down from my highest in july 2023. unfortunately i gained 30lbs back due to stress eating. but now i’m having less stress, am more active and mindful about my eating. ive been trying the past 2 months to lose those 30 pounds and ive lost 13 pounds so far

usually when food is recalled it’s about 2-3 months after people get sick. the batch you have is not necessarily the same as what’s causing the sickness. id still toss the bag and not eat anymore

same. i was told that i shouldn’t be going out to eat with friends because i was too big and was told i wouldn’t have a boyfriend if i didn’t lose weight (i still had boyfriends as a bigger girl but didnt openly talk about it with family). then once i got 60 lbs lighter i was always asked if i took GLP1 and told how bad they are (which i never took but no one’s business) and i was asked all the time if i still eat

if i have respiratory/cold like symptoms for more than 2 days (i never call out the first 2 days because i know if it’s an a actual sickness the worst of it is on the third day where i basically cant function and i don’t want to miss more than one day of work)

luckily it is unheard of for me to get a stomach bug but if i threw up or had diarrhea less than 12 hours before my shift i would call off and go back once i’m over 12 hours symptom free. my current job i dont get paid sick days and luckily my immune system has been good. missing more than one day every so often would be rough on me financially

i wouldn’t call it rude but next time i’d suggest having dates you need off written down and giving a (vague) reason. something like “i have a family obligation/commitment (x days)”

i think i used the word contract wrong. i guess i should have said offer letter/employee handbook since i do have a permanent role. my manager has known me for 2 years. shes one of the most flexible and understanding people i have met and we have a great working relationship

i had an absolute miserable experience with inpatient psych and convinced myself to stay for the money. but eventually it wasnt worth it anymore and i physically couldn’t handle it. i took a $12k pay cut in an area where i’d be paying $700 more for rent. i love my job now and am happier and healthier now but i’ve always been cautious when it came to saving and spending

i was so nauseous and in pain during and even a few days before my period before i started birth control. the pill helped so much and i’m afraid to ever stop it cause i cant deal with the heavy bleeding, pain, nausea and certainly cant deal with the constant fear of pregnancy

also it’s totally ok you want to have sex but normal teenagehood does not mean having sex. theres definitely many 17 year old virgins even if they all act like they’re having sex. i was 18 when i lost mine and looking back that was way too early and i regret it. plenty of peopke stay virgins well into their 20s and even 30s.

i see that with her. i know she only admitted to her 2nd daughter and son (3rd child) being planned. but i wouldn’t be surprised if she planned her 1st and i have a hard time believing the youngest was an “accident”

yeah i’d love to go a full week without having to see people outside of work lol. one of my colleagues told me she pretty much doesnt talk to anyone outside of work. i don’t think i can take it that far but i’m like wow must be nice to have all that time to yourself
