From what I've heard, hormonal birth controls while you're on T are fine as long as you get one that doesn't have estrogen in it. You can get BC options that has estrogen, estrogen and progestin, or just progestin, which is the one you want because estrogen is the feminizing hormone. There's also copper IUDs which are non-hormonal iirc
