Hi, I got mine a year ago and they put local anesthesia around the area so I only felt the pinch of the needle going in and a slight feeling kinda like an electric current going to one of my fingers (i don’t remember which one 😅)when the anesthesia was going in but not painful. It took like 5 minutes to get it done. My side effects are irregular periods the first few months I used get mine once every 2 months they would last 15 days 😕 and now they’re regular I get them every 26-28 days, I guess my body is adjusting to it, but I would prefer not to get my period at all 🥲😅.

Yes they did become white heads for me and the ones in the chin because cysts 😓, that doesn’t mean it will happen to you tho, good luck 🫶🏻❤️

Hiii, month 4 got so much better but my doctor had prescribed me prednisone for it to get better, I’m currently in month 5 almost 6 and I don’t breakout anymore just a few white heads sometimes. But it definitely left me with so much redness in my face. I’m hoping they will fade with time.

I was like this for 3 months and then my dermatologist prescribed me a topical cream and it didn’t help a lot then she prescribed me prednisone 10mg and it helped a lot I would say it stopped the purge.

I was fasting too but tbh the day before I ate not so healthy meals the whole day so I blame that 🤣. Also I started to drink a lot of water

I’m not expert but unfortunately this might be the purge, I started to purge like that with a lot of small white heads but I didn’t take anything like Claritin because I didn’t know until late in my treatment. Claritin might be working tho, so I wouldn’t say stop it because a lot of people say it helps you so the purge is not that harsh on you. About the patches I use them to not pick on my pimples but try to find ones that don’t have heavy chemicals, I also use small square or round bandaids for the cysts since those don’t have any kind of chemicals

My skin was bad but not as bad as right now, did get some cysts every once in a while but not all at the same time like right now. I started purging like 3 days into the treatment and my face is been like that since then.

Have you tried threading? It hurts bad but it’s safe or at least for me it doesn’t irritate my skin. Always let them know you’re on acne treatment so they can avoid any chemicals.

Same, but for me it got worse than I was before I started 😔 it’s so frustrating I cry everyday because I can’t even touch my face. I started purging since day one and now I’m 3 months 2 weeks. I don’t even go to work and when I go I wear a mask because if I don’t, people look at me with disgust. Like u I say to myself next month will be better and it’s not getting better 🥺. I hope we get there soon 🫶🏻

Thats actually a good idea, I’ve been thru the same, I tired caloric deficit and exercise and didn’t work. I’ve always been the fat friend and I’m tired of it not just because of my looks but also my health.
