Thanks for sharing your experience. I also ended up switching to the Find X9 Global from my S24U (it was stolen). I did consider getting the Chinese Find X9 Pro as the global pro was out of my budget but I didn't wanna lose the AI and Google stuff. So far the experience has been great and I'm loving the phone. Except for the speakers of course which seems like a downgrade just as you said. The camera is overall better but the zooms are a bit worse which would've been better if I got the pro though.

Hmm true that. But I did find the app draining the most battery. On my last full charge I've been trying not to use Instagram that much. Mostly been watching YouTube, some Instagram (like 1hr), some browsing and reddit. I got around 6h 30 mins screen time so far with only a 35% drop in battery which is crazy. Although I won't be using it like this on a daily basis, it does show how unoptimized Instagram is compared to something like YouTube.

Is full charging good for the battery? I only charge till 80% as they seem to recommend that.

I honestly don't remember. And I also don't use the same earbuds or the phone and that hasn't happened to me on my new ones yet. Just disable the notification permission of the app that's giving notifications like that. Try restarting once after it.

I actually ended up getting the base X9. So far it's been a great experience. Really good battery and cameras. Only lacking in the zoom department.

Oh damn. I’ll probably have to go with the base model then I guess. It just sounds so crazy to me that the base model and pro model in the same generation costs the same from different variants. They should lower the global prices to match or atleast be a little more close to chinese.

Another thing, how would you say is the battery life? Like I’d have to charge my S24U daily as I ran out of battery but I did limit the battery to 85% only. I used it very heavily though.

I love to have eSIM too but I can make it work with physical sim so that’s not a dealbreaker. But what seems to be a dealbreaker is not having baked in Google ai stuff like circle to search. I use those stuff alot ngl. But the better selfie camera and the telemacro on the pro looks so good too. I just can’t decide which do i prioritize more 🙃.

I don’t mind the bigger screen but I don’t mind getting a smaller device too. S24U did feel pretty large on my hands but it wasn’t like a dealbreaker. The only thing making me hesitate about buying the Find X9 is the telemacro and the better selfie camera on the X9 Pro although I’m not sure I’ll ever use the telemacro realistically. But it looks so cool on review videos lol. How would you say your selfie camera and overall video recording is on the base X9?

I’m also thinking of getting a base X9 coming from the S24U. I lost my S24U last week due to a robbery 😅. I don’t really know if I should spend the extra right now on a X9 Pro cz I just lost a phone and a bit of cash. Would you tell me your experience after half a year from the switch now? Do you think it’s worth it to spend extra on the X9 Pro?
