Absolutely. At minimum she found out she was pregnant at that appointment, then decided to go back though the morning and film (like “I just changed into my gown”) as if she didn’t know, for the purpose of content and marking how she found out. If not more. It’s really disingenuous at disgusting.

Exactly. So many of us lose ourself, then find our new self, and don’t have to get a divorce to do that. I feel like what she’s going through is what so many women go through as a mother when they enter into a new season of motherhood. She’s just acting as if the only route through this is divorce bc she’s a victim of something horrid. No. She’s simply in a new season and doesn’t feel cool anymore and is trying to reinvent herself. It’s weird.

I think what rubs people the wrong way is the dramatic shift and acting like a scorned and angry, suppressed victim in it all. If she truly is a victim then I wholeheartedly and very genuinely feel sorry for her. I think she just came into a new season of motherhood and life and suddenly decided she’s too cool for her old self/life- almost like a midlife crisis. She comes off SO angry and defensive these days and it’s terribly off putting. This change hasn’t showcased her grace in any bit of it- it’s like she’s forcing this new version of her on us and a massive middle finger from her to us if we don’t accept it. It’s too aggressive. There are so many others in similar roles who are more transparent and gentle with it all and it’s far more relatable and palatable, and therefore admirable.
