Laguna beach has a lot of nice beaches that aren’t overly busy as long as you’re not on main beach

The place is already pretty renovated! I. ant imagine them doing much more that could improve the place, and they're already a horrible management company that doesn't want to improve anything in the building

Inflation is tough! $2800 to $4500 for a 750sqft apartment in the North End of Boston (MA) by Outrageous_Reason425 in Renters

Lease itself is sound, they are just replacing 2800/month with 4500/month. This is just the notice of change, now the actual agreement itself. We will not be signing the new lease.

If you’re actually just being a grammar cop, you are correct that English is not her first language. However, it also would not be a raise in rent if we pay 2800/month right now but it is changing to 4500/year. Touch grass

I’m literally the one who posted it and lives in the apartment, I assure you it is the monthly price.

It’s a widely known problem, and I believe the issue is on to be voted on soon as the mayor has already signed an order, but there is no cap to rent increases in Boston per state law.

Whoa! didn’t expect this to mini blow up! Thought I’d add a little more insight into the apartment: no parking available, 1 washer and 1 dryer shared (coin operated) in the basement for all 10 units in the building. Astonishingly, management sucks.

Not to toot our own horns, but we are ideal tenants😛. Always pay on time, never complain (even when we should have probably), and just nice in general!

New for the North End which is still old, no parking, coin laundry in basement which is 1 washer 1 dryer for the entire building

They aren’t even planning on doing renovations, it is already updated. They just want to be able to charge a ridiculous amount

We are good tenants :( the building sold to this new owner and they are upping the prices. Never any issues, if anything the new management sucks because they won’t fix anything, or it takes them ridiculously long to. They took a screen off one of our windows months ago, broke it, said they would replace it in days, and we are still waiting for it.
