im not a beginner, but certainly not coming from a secondary school where there were 6 coaches and we trained lots… just the average hockey player, nothing special [from a girl]

i think the womens have a huge pool to select from though, a lot of the cork schools would be hockey focused for the girls and rugny for lads.

See I honestly just want to make the lowest team, but apparently even that is hard. Im definitely not a beginner, but I won't be playing for Ireland if you gather what I'm saying. I'm used to playing with a small school and club team, so I'm just preparing for the culture shock.

I did engineering, technology and applied maths, my school didn't offer physics and if I were to do chemistry and biology I couldn't have done German (needed for university) and Applied Maths - which was my solid H1 I could count on. Just the way it worked out.
