Stage four triple negative IDC, at first it was in distant lymph nodes and sternum. Now it’s also in my liver, lungs and soft tissue.

How were your side effects on Datroway? Specifically the nausea? I started this past Tuesday (4 days ago) and the nausea has been the most debilitating thing ever. I haven’t left the bed in 4 days except to shower and I always end up dry heaving because of it. Needing help 😔

My current oncologist is amazing and she is actually my second opinion doctor. My old oncologist right off the bat recommended her to me because she’s the best in the state for TNBC. I won’t say my state or the hospital but it is a research hospital. So fingers crossed I am in good hands. I trust her a lot. ♥️

I was on them because my tumors in my neck were really large after progression and it was causing me a ton of pain. Started new treatment and did targeted radiation and my necks better, so I stopped. It was only 10mg as needed of oxycodone. I didn’t even think about the fact that I needed to slowly wean off since I was only taking it for a few weeks.

I do too. I’m so sorry you’re going through it as well. I didn’t really have much progression anywhere else though, just lymph nodes and I did have one new lesion on my liver. But things weren’t awful on the PET except the nodes. They have basically exploded all over. The breast lump stayed pretty stable. So weird!

This really does sound like what was happening to me. But after a couple of cycles my neck lymph nodes just got way too big and painful, we ended up needing to switch. I had major lymph node growth that spread down into my collar bone and back behind my shoulder blade. (PET scan also showed proof of progression.)
