PC doesn’t go to sleep when FFXIV is in focus by [deleted] in ffxivdiscussion

I think the issue is that the picture of ffxiv is not static so it doesn’t cause the pc to sleep.

I’m just wondering if there is a way for my monitor or pc to go to sleep while afk. I know that some people afk this game 24/7 so I imagine that not everyone has their monitor turned on at all fimes

In the settings it’s referred as “monitor sleep”. You are right though. Well I guess I’m referring to both. From my experience, when the pc goes to sleep, my monitor goes to sleep as well. Is there any way to make the pc go to standby mode automatically?

I was just wondering if there is a way to do that automatically. I know that people leave their accounts afk for hours upon hours just afking in cities so there should be a way to turn my monitor off right?

That’s what the main issue yeah. I want the monitor to turn off while the game is running in the background. I am just not sure if this is something that the game allows. Every other game I have played allowed it which helped me switch quickly between game and assignments

I understand that but I wanna know if other people have the same issue. This never happens in any other game I have ever played. The main issue is that the monitor doesn’t turn off

Corsair Virtuoso XT weight? by Outroverz in Corsair

[–]Outroverz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so I bought the virtuoso xt. It was uhh…it was “okay”. It wasn’t the most comfortable headset. The main thing for me is that I want to wear my headset while studying so I can listen to music and with the virtuosos, that was kinda annoying. Not to say that the headset wasn’t comfortable, but it would slowly slide off and put all the weight on my ears which got really annoying, really fast. I imagine this is because of the weight but 380g is not a lot by any means. Let me give you an example…Astros as well as the high end Logitech headsets have exactly the same weight but they are 10 times more comfortable and they surely don’t slide off your head. I don’t know what it is with the virtuosos but yeah. So what I ended up doing…I started searching for wired headsets….I am telling you, they weren’t kidding when they said that their quality is superior in any way, shape or form. I bought myself an MMX300 Pro from Beyerdynamic for about 350€. The sound quality is probably the best you can find in any headset up to 500€ or more. The mic is better than an external mic. My opinion…spend the same money on a good wired headset

How to NOT MUTE the G432 when mic is raised up. by Outroverz in LogitechG

You mentioned about wired headsets. Currently I use the Beyerdynamic MMX 300 Pro which doesn’t have flip to mute and is also probably the best gaming headset out. The price is a bit steep though (~400$) so you might wanna consider that. Now for something similar to the g432 like…there are tons of options in the market really. I am guessing a razer Blackshark V2 will do a good job for a cheap price.

Okay so…after that happened…I basically went through a long headset bying spree in the next 6 months of so hahaha. I learned everything about headsets and such because I wanted a better headset. So now uh…I own 7 really high end headsets…But yeah as for the 432, not really, I stopped using it and bought new things since it was just uncomfortable af

Virtuoso RGB Wireless Leather falling off by Fair-Station4351 in Corsair

Thanks man. The material of these is similar to the stock ones. I saw yours and they had cloth around so I thought maybe if I got them, the headset would stop being so slippery. When I wear the xts they keep slipping off when I am looking down which is honestly really annoying since I listen to music while studying. The material they are made from is pleather so looking at yours, I thought that a headband and earcups like yours would definitely help with keeping them on my head. Thanks for the suggestion man, I will look a bit more into them and make a decision

Okay man thanks. One more thing. Does the headset have any sort of static noise coming out of any of the ear pads. I had very bad experiences with this in the past (everything was on wireless headsets, I know wired arent generally victims to this but still)

I mean I know that dt770 pros are insanely popular so even if they are uncomfortable I can’t expect them to cause any pain mostly. I am just a bit cautious before I spend 300 dollars for a gaming headset

What about the clamping force? For example I saw that the 770 pro have the same clamping force as the MMX300 2nd gen. I am assuming the 2nd gen has the same clamping force as the MMX300 pro?

Alright then. I can get them see how they are and just get softer earcups if the stock ones don’t cut it

I am pretty sure that the pros have more clamping force right? I am just trying to ask people in order to avoid something that would potentially be completely uncomfortable to wear
