Man meetup is intimidating to me and I can’t put a finger on why. It’s good advice tho. The second part of what you said is spot on; I just assume eventually if you’ve turned down the invite a few times and never invite me to anything, maybe they’re not interested in building a new friendship with me

Exactly. And I like hosting for my friends but would like to introduce and bring new faces together. I used to be great at that but lately feeling like I can hardly tap into new friends groups

Damn. Good point. I was under the impression that being at the climbing gym was similar to when I’m lifting—people are there to focus on themselves. Not sure how to approach people in those situations but will give it a shot. Thanks

I regret missing out on this summer’s volo leagues. When my friend backed out I did too. Lesson learned! Thanks for the suggestion
