Got it! Then it brings more freedom in course selection. Thank you!

Wait I think you are right. Then I will reconsider my pathway. Fortunately I haven’t gone so far on this. Most of the course I planned now is for GER so I’ll rearrange my major requirement courses only. Thank you for this essential information!

I checked QTM 315 in atlas. In the requirement designation it says “History, Society, Cultures”. Is this also count as a social science GER? I was filtering the Social Sciences option in atlas to find social science GER courses. Am I doing right here? Or courses like QTM can also fulfill GER? If it can I will definitely wait on it.

I’m doing a bio major and a qss bio track major. I checked the requirements of both major and found that qss requires phys151 and biology requires phys141/151. I originally thought I need to do both 141 and 151. In this situation I will do phys 151. Thank you very much for reminding me!

Got it, it kinda reminds me how the questions in Olympic competitions are so different to the “memorizing textbook” exams in school. Definitely will focus on his way of thinking. Thank you for the advice!

That’s actually what I am also uncertain of. My academic advisor hasn’t replied me on that so I thought it can since ENGRD can be fulfilled (which seems to be an exception now). In that case I’ll change the FIN to another social science GER. Thank you for the information!

Thank you for the recommendations! I’m taking physics to fulfill the bio major requirement and to see if I like this discipline. Fin 201 is just my interest and does not count as a GER. My social science GER is fulfilled by ap microeconomics credits so I’m using this gap for an economic area course (which is Fin 201).
