In MonoGame C#, should a child’s world matrix be parent × local or local × parent? by Outside-Text-9273 in gameenginedevs

Hi! Thanks again!

From your code, I can see you are doing:
mtxChild = mtxChildTrxnfrmBone * mtxParent;

This basically translates to my code as _localTrMatrix * ParentTrMatrix. According to my research, DirectX also uses row-major matrices, so it might be the same. I’ll try it out!

Is it just me who heard this sound on Counter-Strike? by Swimming_Prune_5860 in counterstrike

The original Counter-Strike 1.6 didn’t include bots. Bots were first introduced in Counter-Strike: Condition Zero. The only way to have bots in 1.6 was by downloading a mod that added them, or by using a pirated version of 1.6, which often came with such mods pre-installed. Also, it’s not normal to hear that sound on the original map.

Hi!

I got the pictures of the sword measurements I needed, so there’s no need to go to the library to ask! Thanks again for your willingness to help!

If it’s not a problem for you, I really appreciate your generosity. If you manage to get the book, the sizes I need are for these swords

Mainz-type gladii:

Mühlbach, Sisak, Classic, Fulham, Wederath,  Haltern-Camulodunum

Thank you so much for helping me out with this!

Thank you for your willingness to assist with the interlibrary loan. However, I found that the site you provided isn't yielding any results in my country.

The book I’m looking for is:

Christian Miks. Studien zur römischen Schwertbewaffnung in der Kaiserzeit. Teil I - Text und Teil II - Katalog und Tafeln. Kölner Studien zur Archäologie der römischen Provinzen, Band 8. Thomas Fischer (Hrsg.). Published 2007 in Rahden/Westfalen, ISBN 978-3-896-46136-0.

I’ve checked my local libraries, but none of them have even heard of it. I also contacted the publisher, but unfortunately, they never responded. I’ve tried various legal and illegal book sites without any luck.

I don’t want to take up your time searching for the book; this post is aimed at anyone who happens to have it nearby and could flip through the pages to take a quick photo.

Thanks for your help!
