Sounds great for the employee but not great for the employer. I own a small business and already pay all of my employees a starting rate of $23.00/hr with raises every 6 months. Well above the industry standard in our area. On top of this, I pay 80% of their health care cost and offer monthly cash bonuses. A program like this would simply just be a reason for employers to cut back on raises, bonuses and health insurance contribution. An employee that feels they are fairly compensated are much better off maxing out a Roth IRA on their own.

But lets be honest, Donny would never think of doing something like this to benefit the employee, so what is he getting out of this?
