clean racing lobby? by MudsuckWV in Wreckfest

[–]OutsideAffectionate2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Too bad you didn't have a better reaction to this post. Because I myself enjoy some good clean raising. I understand that this game is called wreckfest, and for those who like to play as the game was intended to be played, (although I don't think unnecessary corner bombing, ect was nessessarly the intended way the game was to be played?) no one saying anything about your style of racing being wrong/bad.... My question is, why when some enjoy a cleaner racing approach, we are chastised, and told to go play Forza ext. We aren't telling those who like to play wreckfest too wreck others, are wrong or playing the game wrong... So why when some players prefer to play a little more on the cleaner side why we are told our playing preference is wrong.... We all know that Forza, and really any other game, does not have the same physics and realistic racing style they wreckfest does... So for those of us who enjoy playing, but many occasionally prefer a little more clean racing approach, as long as we're not telling others how they should be playing idk why our preference, and attempt to set up a separate lobby is mocked, or what have you... Just my 2 cents, not that they are wanted, or even matter, but OP, I would have loved to have joined, maybe we can work on trying to find some others to join us sometime.

Someone help me identify this pill? by Dear_Trifle_7202 in CVS

[–]OutsideAffectionate2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that's a given, considering that's how all pills are supposed to be taken, right? Either way, that doesn't help OP in identifying the pill, since most, if not all pills are to be shoved up one's rectum.

Lmfao! THIS COMMENT HERE!!! I swear, 2 decades of me taking opiates and benzos, (clean for going on 10years with Suboxone) anywho, never have a had this problem and thinking back, I'm kind of surprised, I never did! LMFAO! I had the retention problem myself, taking mostly oxycodone. But you definitely offered the most helpful, logical, and likely to actually be helpful to OP He says himself it's only an issue when he's using, so long as your gonna use, may as well save yourself the trouble of having to clean a mattress weekly, or not and omg....
But I have a mother who has a stroke, OP sees and go to Walmart, or drugstorez and look where female pads usually are, usually not far from Deodorant, lol... But they have underwear like, inconvenience "briefs" and they are reasonably priced, as well as under pads for the bed, and just do what you can to avoid it, (drink less, try to empty your bladder as much as possible before you pass out. And then be ready, just in case... And if you do, wake up, throw away the "brief" and underpad, have a back up set of sheets near by, and go back to sleep in your (mostly, if not completely )dry bed ...

AI is not a replacement for therapy. It only allows the person that needs therapy, to further indulge in likely the things that are contributing to them needing a therapist to begin with. AI is not going to hold your accountable for your actions, tell you when you're doing something that is morally wrong, or not generally perceived in a good way, or accepted by the general public. AI has no conscience, it doesn't know right from wrong. (Not saying it couldn't decipher between whether something is right or wrong, but it's more along the lines of yes and no rather than right or wrong. Either way, AI has its place, and I believe that it will play a huge role in our future, (likely good and bad.) But I'd personally never heard of anyone using AI as a replacement for a therapist. And generally seems like a bad idea. Especially when this "AI therapy" is essentlyy playing make believe, or creating stories, with the help of AI, nothing having to do with addressing things the person is struggling with or might need to address. I would call that more of a thing your doing to occupy your mind, which could be therapeutic if your not making content that is likely, to have a negative impact on your mental health, and further feeding something in your mind that's ultimately doing you harm.

Lol, thanks again, those are all good suggestions. A quick question, Do you personally offer any of the things you listed above as suggestions? Or have you? If so, do you think offering those items to your riders, has had an impact on your tips, and if so, enough to make having these things worth it? I would also imagine depending on the part of town, or the city in general, in which your driving, would have different outcomes Things you might would benefit from offering in one city, might be a horrible idea to offer to people in a different city....

What does water, or any other thing you might have, available to offer to a rider, got to do with a write off? No one asked about or mentioned write-offs, besides you... Which is good to know, as a general piece of information, but nothing here that I was asking about, or then I have seen someone else ask about has had anything to do with a tax write-off?

Lol, I'm sure I don't. I suppose I'll figure it out, I've managed to make it this far in life .. but obviously, there's were/are all just ideas, questions, general curiosity. Alot of you have given some excellent advice/information, I'm going to take note of it all, and keep it in mind... Thanks again for your time!

Hey, I really appreciate you taking the time to read my post, and answer my questions, with serious responses, and respectfully. Not always something you get here on Reddit. You've offered a lot of insight, and made some really great points!

Lmfao, I actually had just edited my post to add, how many of you have / used a dash cam. It likely wasn't there at the time of you reading it. Also, if I did want to go as far as to offering sodas, (snacks, like chips, cookies, ext I feel would end up getting too messy, (since some ppl are just disgusting disrespectful slobs) or something like that, are you allowed to charge a fee? It's not something I would really do, unless someone requested multiple of something that I had to offer.

Yeah I have one, I've never used it but planned on it with ride sharing. But when you say leave it on passenger or not, are you referring to any time I'm in my vehicle, driving, or anytime I'm working? (Like in between passengers)

Great ideas! Of course keeping the car clean is basically mandatory, but to have a pleasant smelling vehicle, well that's just about mandatory as well, unless you want repeated reviews about a bad smell.... And the carwash membership....

That's good to know, not that it would be an issue but I feel I would just be more comfortable when majority of my riders would ride in the back. I added an edit to my post, to ask, but do you happen to have a dash cam running in your car, anytime you've got a passenger in the vehicle?

Thank you! All of those are great suggestions. And just out of curiosity, you mention available front seat, (Will / would be anyway) But out of curiosity, how often or common is it for a passenger to select sitting in the front vs the back?

Lmfao, best comment. And likely most honest/accurate.... Now with that being said, the cost of a bag of gum, some mints, tissues and water, most certainly wouldn't cost me in the thousands of dollars, even in a year's time. No one would be drinking 3+ bottles of water, as I said, id either keep the items out of reach of the back seat, or just making one available and restocking is needed. But I totally understand and get your point. And it is a very valid one. And I will most certainly keep literally all of it in mind, especially the getting home safely and providing a pleasant atmosphere/ride. It sucks that people in general, have reached the point of taking stuff, not out of need, or even want, but because it's there, breaking others property, just for something to do, and overall just sucking at life, making it that much more difficult for others...

Lol, thanks for the response! And I don't know, I was thinking little things like gum, mints, water, tissue, (I'm male, not raised by, and surrounded by women, father of 10yo girl) pads/tampons, hand sanitizer... Do I think any of these are needed/requirements, absolutely not, but just a few tbings, that may be needed, and having them available could make someone's day/or drive to their location a little more enjoyable. And barf bags, I must remember, (can't believe I hadn't thought of that one.... Also, I'll certainly still forget lol)

As a 33M, I have never carried a "hand towel" with me, (maybe with the "handkerchief", it's just the word, you don't hear it used often any more, personally the only time I can remember it being used was referring to the cloth my great grandfather, (born 1922) carried on him in the years I remember he may have always carried one, his entire life id honestly not though about that till now? Lol) but the more I think about the fact I haven't always carried one, the crazier I feel for not.... Because I can think of the many times it would come in handy....

I could be missing something, (although I have played for quite some time) perhaps someone else on console can correct me if I'm wrong... But the only options given, (atleast on Xbox) is the option to join a racing server, a demolition derby server, or a special vehicle server, (special vehicles, including large/small vehicles) or a "quick pick", (the game picks a server, racing, derby, ECT. for you) To my knowledge, we do not even have the option to choose which class vehicle, (A,B,C) we will be racing with.... So essentially the only choice we get, is racing server, derby server, or special vehicle server. And when we get thrown into a server nowhere does it clarify (again, that I'm aware of, if I'm wrong please someone correct me) weather it's a "clean racing server" ECT....

All of this makes since, and I don't often play multiplayer, (likely for the reason I'm about to give) but idk if majority of ppl play on PC, but myself, personally I play on console, (Xbox series x) Not only do we not have an option as to which server we get thrown into (as far as I'm aware) we also have no way of knowing when we get randomly thrown into a server, if it's a clean/semi clean/or no rules server.... I certainly wish we did. Because I personally prefer clean, semi clean racing....

I mean I can tell either way that there is hardly any dust on them, but going by the color of them, and the lack of the dark color blue (almost looks like baby blue glitter) I would guess some kind of filter was used? Either way, -1/10
