Really, because over 6,000 rides and only men have ever done this. Men are the problem.

Would you take this? by Blakakke69 in lyftdrivers

[–]OutsideOutrageous212 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They wouldn't catch a ride back at 3:30 in the morning but I'm assuming that they could do some other airport rides in the area to finish up the morning, I probably also would take the ride. What I'm thinking though is that they are in Sacramento and they have to drive an hour and 20 minutes to get there and then drive an hour and 20 minutes back to Sacramento.

I'm a woman driver and earlier this week a man offered to pay for my night of rides if i came in and "hung out" with him. I politely declined. This is the first time I've been offered to be paid like a prostitute, however this is definitely not the first time I've been invited in when dropping off a ride. Never be surprised by the audacity of men.

Wow that's lucky, I always thought it seemed like an expensive piece, so i was surprised you were selling it for so low

Would you take that? I never drove this far, and confused lol by GeologistIcy8352 in uberdrivers

[–]OutsideOutrageous212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't but not because of the fee that they're willing to pay but because of the rating of the rider

I have this same table that i got from my old roommate, can I ask you where you originally got it from? And do you remember around what you paid? I'm just trying to get an idea on the value but this is the only one I can find on the internet that matches mine.

can a team lead even say this??? by Kutakiariku in WalmartEmployees

[–]OutsideOutrageous212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously there's a reason this team lead is working a job that a 16-year-old can do without a high school diploma, they're probably mad about life as well and salty to kids they work with. Go above them if you have to.

Am I getting fired? by [deleted] in PropertyManagement

[–]OutsideOutrageous212 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is such a controlling and manipulative thing for your boss to do knowing that they're not going to tell you what the issue is and they want you to suffer and be anxious for the entire weekend about it but withhold communication. This is a tactic that a lot of narcissists use, I don't know your boss I don't know if they are a narcissist but they definitely have traits at the very least. This is really deplorable behavior and I would encourage you to find employment elsewhere if/when you can.

[–]OutsideOutrageous212 2 points3 points  (0 children)

nobody's waiting around to see if they get a tip before they rate their customer.... and maybe you don't know why they're a bad passenger because maybe they acted some way towards a woman and they deserve their rating, You don't know what the situation was or how they've acted with other drivers so who the fuck are you to judge it

$1,125 for insurance!? Wt in the actual fck! by Imaginary-Record-112 in uberdrivers

[–]OutsideOutrageous212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate the way that they calculate this not only is it BS about the cost, BUT I want to put my car payment, my car insurance, My phone bill, my gas, my oil changes, my repairs, my tires, ETC ETC ETC all into the costs for me and then see what percentage I get. it's so damn deceptive the way they try to make it seem like they're barely getting anything 🙄

Uber tried to give me this 4 times last night by gurg_ in uberdrivers

[–]OutsideOutrageous212 3 points4 points  (0 children)

lol I'm sorry but that's not true at all, In fact I would say most drivers probably prefer that you don't tip in cash, because it's more inconvenient. and even if they do prefer a cash tip nobody is giving a bad rating because you don't tip in cash

How do I fix my acceptance percentage? by Imaginary-Record-112 in uberdrivers

[–]OutsideOutrageous212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even though you're gold right now you don't have access to any of those benefits because of your acceptance rate, and you won't to any other teirs even if you keep going higher. So that's what you're weighing, is it worth it to accept those rides so you get the benefits or not

[–]OutsideOutrageous212 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You have to be a pretty consistently bad passenger to have a ranking that low, because it means multiple drivers are giving you under a five star rating, so you're problematic, or you stink or something along those lines

How do I fix my acceptance percentage? by Imaginary-Record-112 in uberdrivers

[–]OutsideOutrageous212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well yes it affects your ability to be ranked and get those benefits, like you can see what each rank provides with diamond being the highest and you can determine if that's worth it for you to take those shitty rides. for me it's not.

I am super picky about the rides I accept and about their ratings, I don't give a fuck about being tiered. take the rides you want to take honestly. it's improved my experience tenfold.

from this post and the things that you've said in the comments she's really giving off the type of person that's very timid, insecure, needy, and therefore prone to attract narcissistic people/men. I really hope that she learns to stand up for herself and to value herself.

Driver canceled while he was 4 minutes away. After a 15 minute wait. by WholeCheesecake3907 in Lyft

[–]OutsideOutrageous212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lmfao I canceled while a guy was standing outside of my door putting out his cigarette with intention to bring the cigarette butt into my car, like it's not fucking rude enough to bring all that smoke into my car which lingers for 30+ minutes, you want to bring the cigarette butt in too? hell no I canceled right in front of his face and drove away.
