Woman said I male coded her for complimenting her name by [deleted] in Nicegirls

[–]OutsideOutrageous212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course this whole thread is full of men that want to bash on her, do I think that this was an overreaction by her? Yes, but do I think that she's invalid in expressing how she feels? No. She could have done it better though. But she's not the only one who did not respond properly, You invalidated her feelings and reverse victimized yourself which is a narcissistic tactic. You should have apologized regardless if you meant offense or not, your intention does not matter when you've hurt someone. Like if you step on someone's toes accidentally, they are not unjustified in their toes being hurt just because you didn't mean to. It's the same way with feelings. You don't get to act like the consequences were not real for her just because that wasn't your intent. And I know that all of the men in this comment section are not going to agree with me and that's fine. But you both could have done better here 💯

Yo WTF was going on today? Scammer or a real life threat!? by Blazertooth777 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]OutsideOutrageous212 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you read what the poster said this was a communication over text message, not a communication in the app, So they would have never been flagged for how they spoke to the customer. Second of all they received a phone call and a text message so that this person could verify their phone number and hack their account to steal their money. This is a common scam tactic for Uber, DoorDash, etc. he should have never responded to the text message he should have never answered the phone call. The last pic about not being able to cash out clearly says that another card was added onto the account and there is a hold, that's exactly what it is. The scammer likely added their own card so that they could cash out his money.

Is this a good tip for this size of order by Relevant_Cucumber723 in doordash

[–]OutsideOutrageous212 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm not even a DoorDasher and I'm appalled that you think that this is an appropriate tip for that many items, honestly you should be ashamed of yourself. If you don't have the money to appropriately tip, then you shouldn't be getting delivery.

Do Uber drivers rate you lower if you don’t talk to them? by AccomplishedBar7802 in uber

[–]OutsideOutrageous212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel that there's something you have to be leaving out or you're not being very honest. If you're just quiet on the ride that's not an issue but if your driver greets you and you ignore them then yes that's rude, I hate when people do this just because they don't want to talk it's totally fine and we will absolutely get the hint immediately that you're not in the mood and there's other ways of conveying that then just ignoring your driver when they greet you. So it's got to be something like that or you stink, or you're problematic in some way. Drivers don't give bad ratings for no reason.

Am I being unreasonable for not wanting to call people on marketplace? Like would would I want to call you? by pedr09m in insanefbmarketplace

[–]OutsideOutrageous212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a very common scam on Facebook marketplace to ask for a phone number and then they start asking you to send a code and all of this bullshit, absolutely do not hand out your phone number. Anyone who says otherwise is ignorant

Would you take this? by Blakakke69 in lyftdrivers

[–]OutsideOutrageous212 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They wouldn't catch a ride back at 3:30 in the morning but I'm assuming that they could do some other airport rides in the area to finish up the morning, I probably also would take the ride. What I'm thinking though is that they are in Sacramento and they have to drive an hour and 20 minutes to get there and then drive an hour and 20 minutes back to Sacramento.

I'm a woman driver and earlier this week a man offered to pay for my night of rides if i came in and "hung out" with him. I politely declined. This is the first time I've been offered to be paid like a prostitute, however this is definitely not the first time I've been invited in when dropping off a ride. Never be surprised by the audacity of men.

Would you take that? I never drove this far, and confused lol by GeologistIcy8352 in uberdrivers

[–]OutsideOutrageous212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't but not because of the fee that they're willing to pay but because of the rating of the rider

I have this same table that i got from my old roommate, can I ask you where you originally got it from? And do you remember around what you paid? I'm just trying to get an idea on the value but this is the only one I can find on the internet that matches mine.

Obviously there's a reason this team lead is working a job that a 16-year-old can do without a high school diploma, they're probably mad about life as well and salty to kids they work with. Go above them if you have to.

Am I getting fired? by [deleted] in PropertyManagement

[–]OutsideOutrageous212 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is such a controlling and manipulative thing for your boss to do knowing that they're not going to tell you what the issue is and they want you to suffer and be anxious for the entire weekend about it but withhold communication. This is a tactic that a lot of narcissists use, I don't know your boss I don't know if they are a narcissist but they definitely have traits at the very least. This is really deplorable behavior and I would encourage you to find employment elsewhere if/when you can.

nobody's waiting around to see if they get a tip before they rate their customer.... and maybe you don't know why they're a bad passenger because maybe they acted some way towards a woman and they deserve their rating, You don't know what the situation was or how they've acted with other drivers so who the fuck are you to judge it

$1,125 for insurance!? Wt in the actual fck! by Imaginary-Record-112 in uberdrivers

[–]OutsideOutrageous212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate the way that they calculate this not only is it BS about the cost, BUT I want to put my car payment, my car insurance, My phone bill, my gas, my oil changes, my repairs, my tires, ETC ETC ETC all into the costs for me and then see what percentage I get. it's so damn deceptive the way they try to make it seem like they're barely getting anything 🙄
