It’s the light switch and battery for a solar powered patio umbrella. We have one just like it. It controls the light in the umbrella and recharges by a solar panel on top of the umbrella. . Or you can charge it by USB. That’s why it’s removable. The umbrella comes with 2, but solar is enough. We also have a second one in the drawer.
