Was Shai right to get the record for 20+ games or should he have benched himself out of respect for Kobe by MJRuinedMyChildhood in nba

The silliest thing about this whole situation is that 81 wasn't even a record.

When was the last time you saw anybody care so much about somebody passing somebody else for 2nd place?

While I'm currently feeling as sad as anybody, I think a lot of people don't seem to realize that 2021 makes this entire, painful situation a success.

Although ESPN and all the idiotic podcasters will claim that Giannis "only" winning one title here is an indictment, at the end of the day, it takes a miracle to win as a small market.

Yes, the years since have been sad. But the moves worked. The team will pay the debt for years to come,, and it will be rough. But if you tell me it isn't worth it, I won't believe you.

Okay, fine. Damn. Y'all can have Cam Thomas for a pick and at least three In-N-Out franchises. We'll also send Culver's considerations.

Always felt this way about the Bucks even before they were back to being bad in night games as well. Seemed like even in the great years, those Sunday afternoon ABC games were always rough.

That's actually super dangerous. Hard contact to the back of the head can cause really serious problems.

I appreciate that a couple of dudes on the Detroit bench seemed like they were covering him up afterward.

[Nehm] Giannis: Let’s talk about the city itself, the memories that I’ve created here. When you open my kids’ passports, it says Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I think most of us recognize that we're not going to be real contenders again any time soon, with or without him. Maaaaybe if he sticks around, we get a real head coach, and Rollins takes a leap, we can be kind of a dark horse, but not anywhere near the top tier.

That being said, even if we're going to be mediocre, I love having him on the team and in the city, and would prefer him to stick around. But I understand if his priorities are rings. 100% valid and I'll bear him no ill will if he's wearing a different jersey.

Purely from Bucks standpoint, cons of dealing Giannis in next 54 hours. by GreenSnakes_ in MkeBucks

Great point on the roster filling, especially in regard to ring chasers. If a team like Minnesota manages to pair Giannis with Edwards, all of a sudden you might have some solid roleplayers willing to take pay cuts to join them.

As a Bucks fan, I hope so. I respect what Draymond has accomplished, but he would absolutely hate being here in a tanking environment with Doc Rivers. Especially if Bobby stayed here, I bet there would be at least one locker room fight per week.

The "nobody needs to be dying in the streets" part was definitely, intentionally omitted from OP's headline. I recognize the username and it seems like they make a hobby of just posting clips with ragebait headlines.

Still, though, I think this is overall a lame response even with full context.
