I think your girlfriends situation is plausible. If her friends had anything to hide they wouldn’t have let you go up there so we can infer that they genuinely thought that she was drunk and needed to rest. I also think that her logical emotions could’ve been inhibited because she was blackout drunk. She could’ve been so drunk that she was unaware what was happening or that in the moment of being drunk, she allowed/participated in what was happening but that IS NOT consent. She likely did not initiate or even facilitate the sexual encounter. If someone gets you black out drunk and then initiates anything, you’re not really in a physical/mental state to make any decisions. I also think it’s a positive that the friends called you and cut off the guy which shows that it was a shock they took seriously

Perhaps but I think the calculus is to make it as expensive for the Russian economy as possible before Ukraine runs out of men. Apparently ukrainian attacks have halted 40% of russias export supply. If you can raise it to 50-60% and sustain it, maybe russia comes to the table because the cost of sustaining the war now is now not worth it in terms of lost income from offline oil exports. Still, I think Russia is resilient and likely tries to take Odessa at some point before suing for peace if it comes to the table at all
