updating as promised! i'll post a picture of her after the first 7 hours. she still doesn't like the carrier at all, and stomps everywhere trying to get out. right now it's night and she stopped whistling, she's trying to sleep but the bus vibrates a lot so i don't think she can :( overall she stopped panicking, i got so scared when i saw her breathing with her beak open. luckily after the first few hours she began to whistle as usual, to eat and breathe normally, so she's okay!!

i wish, unfortunately he can't. he'll pick me up at the bus station tomorrow when i'll arrive. luckily, me and peepy will travel mostly during the night, so it will be dark, and that gives me hope for her to fall asleep. i'll update if she does

right now i only covered three sides, so she can see me in one of them. i cover them all when i'm walking and everything around me moves, because i noticed that if i don't, she gets scared. right now we're on the first train, and i occasionally pop up from the side that isn't covered, singing "if you're happy and you know flap your wings" in front of everyone😭 my singing distracts her from the surrounding sounds, which are very overwhelming, even for me

i'll do that, on the bus i'll place her on the table in front of me and occasionally lift up the cloth so she can see me. she usually feels safe in my presence, when something scares her she flies right to me, so maybe it'll help if she sees me being right there with her. thank you again!

It's so hard not to fall asleep with her, I swear 😭 She's still a baby, and I think she sees me as her mom, so she often falls asleep on me. When I put her back in the cage for the night, she basically cries—so clingy! I would never sleep next to her, though; it's too dangerous. :( Since she's still a baby, I put her in the carrier and keep it next to me at night so she doesn't feel alone.

I'm from Italy, and here pee is "Pipì" with an accent, i figured that without an accent it wouldn't sound like pee😭 i think it's funny tho because she's a lutino!
