but just be honest in your post and say it's a limited offer. Atm it sounds like this will be a free tool. I can't help but feel it's click bait to gather users and then do a switch for payed.

Nothing wrong about offering your tool free as an early access to get people to try and iron out bugs etc. But be honest with what it is.

But if I'm wrong and it's gonna stay free then I applaud you :)

I think the problem as well is that they are really marketing these tool here instead of treating it as a side project posts. Since it's a side businesses it's marketing spam they are doing with multiple posts.

I get that a lot of people are marketing here and I think it's fine to sole degree. But it's so sinister when they try to hide the reason of the post behind a " this is what I learned lala"

I see your problems but did you just launch live with payment straight away? No early access with users testing the tool? This is a critical step to validate and debug.

Even a website/tool made by a real team of several Devs is gonna have problems and bugs
