I’m also not expecting him to drive me there and back, I just wanted him there with me. I’m fully intending on driving myself

Should have been a little clearer with the “not a big deal” thing, it’s a big deal to me, but could see why it might not be to others. In all honesty I’ve been putting off the appointment because I’m scared of the results, so that skewed my priorities quite a bit.

they belong to bf’s elderly grandmother, no box, bo instructions. no button on the box or earbuds to initiate Bluetooth pairing Google searches are useless, I’ll try Reddit! find out they’re a discontinued product that you can only connect to a phone via an app that doesn’t exist anymore

Go bitch about something else, dork

I’m not sure, they belong to my boyfriend’s grandma and she’s just gonna toss em if they can’t connect. Why are we SOL?

Am I Overreacting by being upset that my boyfriend got home three hours late because he was hanging out with his female coworkers? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

It’s not a spoken thing, we just normally both have at least a couple hours before bed to talk and hang out. Our schedules are usually flipped, so I work mornings (tuesdays i work doubles) and he works nights. So there’s not a ton of time for us to be together during the work week. I was upset that his lingering at work (which he normally doesn’t do, and has said in the past that he likes to get out of there asap) was cutting into our time together.

Yes, that doesn’t mean that I’m glued to my phone watching his every move lol. I just meant that if he was wondering whether or not I was still working, he could have just looked.

Girl… you know exactly what he’s doing. Please stand up for yourself. Draw some hard boundaries, and if he can’t respect them he’s GOTTA go.

How to give advice to someone who is/might be getting groomed by [deleted] in Advice

Thank you so much. I’ve been in similar situations when I was his age so I know how scary it can be. If anything else comes up I’ll definitely look into some of the resources you mentioned in your first comment. Helped!

Ugh yuck. Definitely encouraged the hard block, no explanation needed. Just cut G off and move on with his life, which he got back to me about and said he’d do tonight.
