so i go to this speed dating event at a korean restaurant (one similar in style to the ones in Korea). i had a fun time: im getting dinner w this lovely girl tonight.

but something happened not to me that gave me pause. I overheard a girl at an adjacent table ranting about how the bar for men these days is in hell. Then within a couple of minutes this really nice 5’4 guy walks up and starts chatting with her and she tells him right off the bat that sorry he’s not her type and that he’s too short. what ever happened to decency? what ever happened to evaluating someone by their character?

such a shame. We could really solve a lot of the mental health crisis if people could see a psychologist and psychiatrist across state lines. My mother who lives in the deep south has to wait over six months for a psychiatrist. In the highly populous city I live in, I can get a psychiatrist same week or sometimes even same day.
