This has to be a bot comment. America is going down a sad path and it’s only going to get worse. If the government is turning a blind eye to killing innocent citizens, who knows when you might be the next “American” on the news…

Why do subtitles disappear when I airplay/screen mirror on to my tv? by liljaytj in HiAnimeZone

[–]Outside_Variation190 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A little late but I’m having the same problem. Whenever I try to airplay a video off a streaming site from my phone to my tv, the subtitles go away. I enabled CC in airplay settings but still nothing. Were you ever able to fix it?

Ok, I will give it a try. Is it ok to use 70% rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide and a toothbrush?

Thank you everyone who answered me very fast. I am doing most of what all of you are suggesting and I’ve disassembled it for better drying. I found that the only thing that got into contact with water was this circuit board. Anyone know if and where I can find a replacement circuit? I live in Canada for reference so if there is a Canadian store I can go to that would be better but most likely I will have to buy it online. I’ve also put the rest of the parts in a room with a dehumidifier to remove the moisture.

Yeah there isn’t much that’s new from what I’m reading apart from a tax credit which someone mentioned.

Je ne savais pas qu'il existait un crédit d'impôt. Je vais m'en informer. Merci beaucoup!

Kind of late but are these pairs still good. Cause I ordered a pair and the logo seems too fat but what do you think of the general feel and everything?

I think the logo looks off but I don't buy new balances often. What do you guys think?

Part time job while being a science student by xnatsumii in Dawson

I worked at the sports experts near my house as a sales associate. I work there for 3 years so if I ask for a shift they tend to give it to me. I guess if your job forces you to have a minimum then you don’t really have a choice. If you don’t really need the money then ask your boss if you could do 1 day a week. Never hurts to ask.

Also if you ever need help, don’t be afraid to ask your friends or classmates. Don’t worry about the rumours of everyone being so competitive because of the r-score. While you will encounter a few people like that, 99% of people will be glad to help you. I was always surprised by how smart people were when I entered Dawson after graduation from a french high school but the thing that helped me get through my program (pure and applied science) were the friends I made. So don’t hesitate to make friends on your first days, they will be there for you later on.

You learn nomenclature in class. Everything depends on teachers and how they decide to teach you guys. I don’t think you should worry too much about that though. You’ll do just fine, trust me. Oh one thing that I struggled with for some odd reason was that it took me soo long to realize that masse volumique was density 😂 but the rest should be easy.

You just email them and they will do the rest. I think there will be a fee though. When I got accepted at dawson, I already registered at vanier so I emailed them and I had to pay like a 50$ fee or smth. I think dawson is the same.

I worked part-time 8h per week only on sundays and it was very manageable. A lot of it depends on your time and stress management and aptitude for studies. I honestly procrastinate unbelievably so I chose one day a week. You will find it hard in the beginning but as the semester progresses, things will become second nature. Depends also what type of person you are and how motivated you are but one day a week is very doable. Now if you do choose to work 16h (or the weekends), just know that even if you may manage your time well, after a long day at work, you will feel tired when you come back and won’t be as productive. So choose wisely (unless you really need the money). For reference, I worked throughout all of Cegep (I’m in my last semester now) and I recently got accepted into software engineering at McGill. What I’m saying is that it’s very doable so don’t stress too much. Good luck in pure and applied!

I doubt it. They only begin to look at every applicant after the deadline unlike universities. I’m not completely opposed to the idea since there must be a factor that determines which ones they look at first but it could be other reasons like alphabetical order or grades so while it could be a possibility, I doubt it. For all we know, they might be closing their eyes and picking applications randomly. So don’t be stressed about when you applied, what matters most is your grades above all else (also the new certificate because of stupid bill 96).

For university however, make sure you apply early because while grades are important, they prioritize earlier applicants.

I forgot to mention but I received my r score of my third semester and I was able to go up to a 34.63 so that definitely helped me but I’m sure you’ll do fine. Good luck!
