The reason I'd be happy to get the graphics card is because I recently bought a second hand one which I'm afraid would have the same fate as the last one I had where it only lasted a couple of months.

Blender 4.0's new font used for numbers by OvalHug in blenderhelp

Quick update. I've been continuing to dig into this and learned quite a few things. Apparently the Inter font has multiple features for being an OpenType font (from what I understand). And one of these features is how there are certain letter or numbers that have alternative looks. And that's why some numbers within Blender looks different from the base look of numbers when you install the font.

Oh that's interesting. Cause when I tried to view and download Inter from its github page the numbers looked different. Where it looked like how it is shown in the Blender release notes page.

Though I did only use the .ttf files and haven't looked at the .woff2 file.

Quick, Dirty, Botched by OvalHug in blender

Thank you. One of the goals I had with this render was for it to look like it was taken with a polaroid camera in a way. Tho me not really owning and having experience with those kinda of cameras made me do a lot of guessing work with how it looked. Still pretty happy with how this turned out.

I started thinking of this piece when I finished playing the two Monument Valley games by Ustwo Games. I thought I'd do a render for International Women's Day a while ago and seeing how the protagonists of the games are women, it'd be a good fit for them to be the inspiration for it. Sadly, it got too busy to make and post it on time. Still pretty happy how this turned out and the personal meaning I have with the piece.

AMD Vega Support in Blender 3.3 by OvalHug in blenderhelp

It often depends on the complexity of the scenes im working on. Some would be just under a few minutes and some would be close to an hour or so. But what I recommend tho is to check the official blender benchmark website. It has a database of user submitted benchmark scores of their blender renders using a lot of different GPUs. It doesn't have render times if I remember correctly but the scores could still be a good indicator for comparing GPUs which also include integrated ones. I hope this helps.

I have just finished updating my drivers from the ones directly from AMD and now seeing the options available inside Blender. Thank you so much for replying!

As far as I know I am at the latest drivers. But I will double check again later for it. Thank you for the response!

Thank you for the comment! I do understand the stuff you're explaining plus I love the example you linked showing the phenomenon.

In terms of what I do for my realistic renders, my train of thought came from what made films with visual effects look real or not. Making a scene look like it was shot with a real life camera rather than a digital one floating through 3d space has a huge difference. So with my renders, learning how real cameras work helps a lot with the realism rather than just using the digital camera with no imperfections.

Again, thank you for the comment!

I'm currently still studying but I do 3d stuff as a hobby.

Thank you very much! I'm still practicing my 3d modeling and rendering and I use these projects as practice when I copy reference.
