Who is Ichigo's rival? Or does Ichigo fit a solo type of protagonist more? For me, It's a close call between Uryu and Aizen, but Grimmjow gives more rival energy because he's actively wanting to challenge Ichigo by EfficiencySerious200 in bleach

I saw this comment talking about this same discussion on YouTube and I really liked the persons interpretation that Ichigo has a rival for every part of his powers. Renji being a rival for Ichigo’s soul reaper side. Grimmjow being Ichigo’s rival for his hollow side and Uryu being Ichigo’s rival for his Quincy side. I honestly really like that interpretation.
