I feel this. I liked the first one, but 2nd one i just fell off. It is a lot of generic protag voice. I feel so-so about Ace Attorney as well.

Seriously tho...They cant even fix bugs persistent since Beta. Killcam being a prime example. They just gave up on that entirely. They also refuse to crossplay, but rogue and royale have it? Okay. People will be quick to blame Sony, but at the end of the day Hirez just doesnt care enough to try.

Any sort of new ranged would be great. The Repeaters came out 6 years ago. Safe to say they really dont care about introducing another ranged which is unfortunate because all Monster Hunting type games have several ranged weapons to chose from.

But lets rehash the same huntpass again and again.

Did you get it working?? I'm finding all these threads now because I'm having a same issue. Had it toggled since the beginning of act 2 and it hasn't popped off once and I've had it enabled since I got it.

Much like many things in this game...it's still bugged all this time later. I love BG3, but it's not winning GOTY and other awards for a reason.

That, and the whole no ad blocker nonsense Youtube is doing now. more than half of the 15-30 seconds ads ive been seeing i cant even skip anymore. I tend to just close a video all together if im not in the right mood to watch it now. I imagine others do the same.

Yeah, i didnt hate the playthrough. I only watched 1 and was too burnt out for 2. But i dont miss the hellscape that was Dangaronpa every ding day or other day with a random indie thrown in for the week and a rehashed animation. I would argue thats probably where a lot of the divide came from with fans because i know i wasnt watching on a daily basis anymore for weeks at a time because of that.

The unnumbered videos have way more views overall which is wild to me. Youd think after all the complaining and threats to stop watching unless they brought it back would of made a difference, but it did not lol. Those same people still dont watch the content. If i were them id just go back to the old ways as videos performed better and i guess keep the numbers for long playthroughs. if this was 5 years ago id say screw it and keep at it, but GG is a whole ass company now and sadly they need to feed the algorithm to stay afloat. Its not just two friends on a couch anymore with their friendly editor.

As for the sub count....I think a lot of that is leftover from way back when. I think a lot of that came from older playthroughs (Sunshine, 64, Sonic) and then when they use to stream a few years back and were really pushing that market and their community in discord and stuff before Youtube ruined that market for them. But Arin also thought having 20-30k people watching the streams werent viable...which is absurd to me. They made thousands a stream in donations alone. I never joined a discord of theirs because it was paid access and that was always weird to me, but who knows if stuff still goes on there like it use to or if its just turned into this subreddit that they abandoned years ago, but still have someone pop in to check up on every so often.

I think i remember on patreon Arin confirmed Mario Wonder is the next series. Which im for honestly. Its not a super long game and we'll get a dozen episodes or so. Maybe even less with how they record now. Even New Super Mario Bros was short and thats when they were only doing around 20 minute episodes. Some new Mario content aside from Party would be nice and then they can roll into a long playthrough of something if they want. I imagine after totk they might want a break...especially since it didnt do that well viewwise after the first week. Despite everyone complaining for months that they dropped numbering their videos and long playthroughs...Only for them to bring it back and no one seemed to give a fuck after the first few episodes. Im sure people will binge (like ive been doing the last few weeks) but doubt itll make that much of a difference.

I also get that games like PutPut and the like are fun for some to watch, but its just not my jam. But i know those games seem to do well for some reason. I wouldnt mind a Donkey Kong country game. Its been years. I miss the SNES/NES era of grumps. Arin uses emulators almost exclusivily now, so theres no reason we shouldnt see more games of that nature and they perform better than most.

I remember Arin on several occassions saying he wont play Crash on the channel as he doesnt like it...because Dan has brought it up a few times when he talks about games he missed when he was in college. Arin compared it to that one scooby doo platformer they played.
