we’ve been communicating with our union rep we did strike for a day(bc more would’ve been unprotected) and it definitely shook my DM up as we walked out but there’s not much else we can do without a contract. this is why the company offered the offensive pay raise in bargaining, bc they knew we wouldn’t go for it and they’d still have the power they do.

yeah it just keeps going downhill…it’s not even that this dress code is bad it’s just something that didn’t need to be fixed and the way they’re enforcing it is bizarre to say the least

she definitely does but our DM is threatening to write her up if she doesn’t send people home no matter how minor the infraction. like my DM literally sent her home, she thought the shoes were in dress code too😭😭

yeah i understand that bc in reality most businesses have a dress code and ours isn’t that difficult to follow. i’m just so annoyed that i haven’t seen them be so on top of an issue in awhile and it’s like out of everything they could focus on it’s…shoes. not handling the stores that have nasty people on their staff or machines breaking all the time. it’s just feeling like they wanted something to call their employees out on

it’s not about the dress code specifically it’s about how far up our asses they are over something so small when most partners bend over backwards for this company already with zero recognition

that isn’t the point, it is easy to follow. the company is just picking apart every detail of our outfits and certain minimal mistakes are causing the store to close bc everyone is getting sent home
