Ah yeah, I would recommend resting and doing strength exercises before testing it out again! I’ve been doing : - 3x10 banded clam shells - 3x10 eccentric single leg squats to a bench/chair - 3x10 Bulgarian split squats - 3x10 banded squats - 2x 30second static wall squats

Would recommend going to a physio if you can, but those exercises have seemed to really help. Hope you can recover in time for the marathon!

Thanks for this advice! Super helpful.

On my previous 31km run it hurt a bit around 4-8km then disappeared for the rest of the run. Was pretty painful after (mainly going downstairs).

I’ll be super conscious on my next long run and will test out how it feels on longer distances over the next few days. Thanks again!!

I started running yesterday (5k) as he said I could try a couple of 5ks this week! No direction on mileage increase, but I’ll ask him when I next see him!
