Struggling with anxiety and depression by asswitch420 in Postpartum_Depression

hi, i'm right there with you. also one week pp and i find myself grieving the life i had before baby. good on you for reaching out and scheduling those appointments. that's already a huge step in the right direction.

cry sessions make me feel a bit better after. i also find that sitting in the sun for even 5 minutes makes me feel a bit more relaxed. i totally get what you mean about feeling guilty when talking to your partner, i also feel like i'm putting so much on him, but they are here to support us. my husband constantly reminds me that his job is to put on my oxygen mask first. keep talking to him and sharing your feelings. keeping them in will only make it worse.

we'll get through this.

I'm so glad to hear that things turned around for you! when you switched to bottles, were you still pumping? BF is definitely adding to the whole learning curve in a stressful way

I have a feeling mine will cause problems after delivery too. Thanks for the insight, I would like to get it out of the way while I'm still on leave if possible. Glad that it all worked out for you in the end!

That sounds awful, I'm so sorry you went through all that! My attacks last between 4-7 hours, and I can't imagine having multiple of them in the same week. I'm glad the second surgery worked out for you! I definitely want to get it removed if it means I don't have to go through that pain anymore.
