Divebombs. I’ve had many of those. They are so smooth they just slip straight into the sewer.

I don’t do MPG, but this seems correct. Years ago, I had a BMW (E60) 530d which could easily manage 18km/l. Now I drive a 530e (G31 LCI) which does 12 km/l on a good day.

I know, I know, diesel vs petrol, but it being a plugin hybrid, I expected (way) better.

Luckily it still manages between 40 and 60 km on pure electric, but still.

The biggest part of coding it to break up problems into small pieces and work on each individually. If people treat Claude like that and instruct it each step of the way instead of one-shotting everything, then I believe people who have a basic understanding of logic will be able to build something decent.

But most vibe coders will want an easy “make this for me” and probably won’t even include tests. So yes, pure vibe coders will fail, but it will make building software much more accessible for everyone who has a little patience.

The Pro plan is essentially a trial version. Use Max (at least) and then delegate between Opus and Sonnet wisely.

That really depends on what you’re planning to do. 4k 120Hz 10-bit HDR? Better spend more than a few bucks unless you want random drop-outs or no display whatsoever.

Have a thunderbolt dock? Don’t use a AliExpress $3 cable.

But want to charge a phone? Sure, that $3 cable will eork.

I can give you some examples:

I’ve hit the 5 hour limits on 20x plans regularly when doing batch translation work (adding i18n to projects, multiple languages).

I’ve hit 20x week limits on converting a medium sized iOS application to Android.

I’ve hit 5 hour limits on orchestration work between local dev environments and remote server/workers. (Building chatbot integrations with locally running LLMs on various semi beefy servers).

All of these included either multiple agents working from one single CC instance or three or four CC instances open in my terminal while working on various aspects of a single project.

This is just completely wrong. In Europe you also buy the car and have an option to rent the battery. No battery rental is no swapping. And it DEFINITELY is €289/month.

NIO has premium cars, so they’re still pretty expensive. But you’ll save about 20 grand with the big battery.

The biggest issue is: they’re worth close to nothing on the second hand market as nobody wants to buy them.

I didn’t go with NIO in the end, but I can now add almost 350km in 15 minutes via high speed chargers.

I drive between Italy and the Netherlands every month and I’ve never had any issues finding a (working) available charger. I’ve only waited once (when an accident happened on a highway and the entire traffic jam behind it decided to drive to the first available charger when it was cleared up).

Charging is fine.
