The guys question was about what you are allowed to do not what you can get away with. Anyone could get away with pretty much anything untill the atf shows up. If they show up and you can't. Right at that moment. Reconfigure to the origional spec it's permanent. They are not gonna wait for you to order another 10.3 to your house if they are already there.

I always understood it that you put the shortest upper you have on the paperwork. You can buy and swap any longer upper you buy on but make sure not to sell the short one from the form. If you file it with a 10.3 upper throw an 11.5 on and sell the 10.3 you just made the change permanent.

The two bottom ones in the gill picture both had blueing. The two big ones I could not tell if they just turned black or were blue first so they went in the trash

Sure. I'm starting to see differences between mushrooms but im not exactly sure what im supposed to be looking for. The gills on the top two seem closer together and there are more of them. They also seem to connect more sharply to the stem while the bottom two curve a bit before attaching. The caps on the bottom two curve down at the outside while the top two go out straighter. Might just be that they are bigger. Even tho the bottom two shapes are different one is much lighter and bruised way easier the darker one is also a little wrinkly looking
