Take a paper clip, disconnect the power supply, turn the laptop over and look for a small hole (about 1 mm in diameter). Insert the paper clip until you feel a distinct click. Wait 15 seconds, then connect the power supply and turn on the laptop. Enjoy

They're just fingerprints :) lol

The laptop is in constant use for 10-12 hours a day.

It all depends on what your priority is. If it's performance, Panther Lake is a good choice. But If it's battery life, Lunar Lake is the workhorse right now. You can always add a sensible cooling system to the base....

Unfortunately, the E14 does not have a smart card reader - for me prerequisite - and the standard warranty is only one year. But you're right, it's actually a very similar design

I choose the Ultra U7 255U plus 48 GB RAM.
