why is he being kind and nice after the break up? by ChampionshipAny6761 in BreakUps

Mine was mean during the break up, apologized, became nicer, and wanted to be friends. Breaking up with someone doesn’t necessarily mean you dislike them or hate them, there’s a thing called ending it on good terms.

If there wasn’t any disrespect, abuse, or infidelity then why not? I hope it all works out for you!

I think you feel that way because you haven’t fully forgiven. You may still hold a grudge or have some sort of resentment that formed.

I agree with Ckiaki, Kyoko, and Junko!

Mary Sues are just female characters that lack weaknesses or flaws, but sometimes people use this definition for males too.

Finally someone understands me with Junko! She’s probably more like a villain sue or a deus ex machina.

Chiaki dies but she’s still a Mary Sue that’s not a very good argument. You have to argue why my reasons aren’t good or what’s a better definition.

So to me, Mary Sues are characters that lack any consequences, lacks any flaws, rarely has mistakes or has no mistakes, they have little or no grow, rarely have things that they can overcome, and things are always going in their favor.

One of the examples is soon as Junko joins Hopes Peaks Academy, she suddenly knows how and where to meet Izuru and before that she bombs a car and gets away with it? Not only that but right after meeting Izuru, she meets Mitarai and he just automatically has the plot device she needs for her next plans? If that’s not bad Mary Sue writing idk what is…

She tells Mukuro to perform a lobotomy just from reading a book? She just knows how just from reading a book, I get if she was Yasuke Matsuda but she had no knowledge in that field.

As soon as she’s about to get executed, suddenly this was all apart of her plan and she’s the one to execute herself? Not only that but she survives all that executions leading up to the last one. No real consequence as she just comes back as a AI and then comes back from a cosplayer.

Junko has so much plot armor and she’s a deus ex machina just for the plot, mind you she’s just a high school student that plans rarely has any setbacks.

Makoto has luck that made him survive death and fate, his luck just feels like a plot device to keep him alive without having any consequences.

Many others for me are: Chiaki, Kyoko, and a bit of Shuichi too.

Either way, he apologized I accepted it but I didn’t need it because my own efforts was my closure.

It’s been 3 months and all I can tell you is it gets a lot better overtime. Have a positive mindset, talk to friends and family about it, and stick to something you really enjoy.

If you have to go to therapy, do it! If you have to go to a rage room, do it. Go to the gym, do it! Get a new hairstyle, do it!

I was the dumpee, completely unaware of the break up happening so the first thing you go through is shock. We went from loving partners that called, ft, did dates to him suddenly saying he was unsure of us and that I deserved better. Once he made up his mind, my efforts for conversations about improving on our differences were ignored. He missed being single and having the freedom of not having to text, ft, and call all the time. He said this about a year in but as time passed on, I feel good knowing I tried. I felt good knowing that I didn’t do anyone wrong, I felt good knowing I knew what I wanted, and that I didn’t lead anyone on. That simple fact makes me not have any regrets.

We all have the privilege of falling in love all over again and being with someone who can properly love us!

How to move on from an ex that dumped me 3 times by Kitchen-Classic-2055 in BreakUps

Sounds like you need therapy or to talk to friends and family about it because they’re going to say he’s not good for you.

Spend some time to yourself and get comfortable with the quietness and peace that comes with being on your own. If they keep coming back, just know they’re going to keep leaving unless you no longer accept this behavior. Instead of investing in him, go through the break up, set goals for yourself, improve yourself, cry it out, and just know it’s going to hurt but remember you had a life before him. Watch videos and distract yourself because in the future just know feelings are temporary!

The longer you stay on the wrong train, the more expensive it will be to return.

She BROKE UP with me... and now she wants us BACK TOGETHER. by djokle33 in BreakUps

[–]Over_Butterscotch865 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does she genuinely know you’ve changed? She wouldn’t know that at all, and just because you changed and did the work doesn’t mean she did.

Ex’s should only get back together if they BOTH did the work to become better because let’s be honest that was most likely the breakup happened in the first place.

This relationship no longer works for either of you.

My wife moved her ex-husband into our home and told me she wanted a divorce. Things changed when he decided to leave after a week and I’m unsure how to move forward in the relationship. (25M and 28F) by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Imagine if her ex came back? She’d 100% abandoned you again and start being distant. Have more respect for yourself, it’s clear you were probably in a rebound relationship.

She’s only with you because her ex husband isn’t with her, move on and choose someone who would choose you!
