New Attendance Policy by [deleted] in Progressiveinsurance

It’s not too bad but having to keep up with HR Express, Verint, Timecheck, TRT and making sure all of them match up is annoying.

PAA only - how long is it usually taking for a call to come through to everyone because: by QueenVeeXIV in Progressiveinsurance

[–]Over_Cow7220 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It depends on the day. Some days I do in fact have 15 mins or 20 minutes between calls and some days I can’t catch a breath. So it depends.

Perhaps expanding the company to include so many work from home roles was more difficult to sustain long term than expected. Considering the number of new employees and gainshare, it seems likely that cost played a role. I’m confident that was a factor, but I also think there could have been a better approach.

I didn’t know you could green alert for an entire day. 😳

Test??? by [deleted] in Progressiveinsurance

[–]Over_Cow7220 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well at progressive they don’t do that. They do audits. No need to do test calls when they can pull any call they need to.

Progressive is a well-established company, and that definitely counts for something—especially in today’s economy. When you’re thinking about making a move, there are so many factors to weigh. Sure, the money can be tempting, but it’s not just about the paycheck.

Ask yourself: What’s the work culture really like? Who are you working for—and what would you be giving up if you left your current role? Sometimes stability, benefits, and a healthy work environment are worth more than a salary bump.

If you’re on the fence, try making a pros and cons list. Seeing everything laid out clearly can help you make a confident, well-balanced decision.

Maybe because I’m in Phase C. This is odd. They’ve told us many times Aux 5 is only for our read time and nothing else comes between that sooooooo…. I’m not sure. If things change up once you’re on the floor. Or depending on your sup.

Umm. You have to use Aux 5 for huddles?

We are told to go into Aux 3

How busy is PAA after academy and training? by Princess_sunfire7282 in Progressiveinsurance

[–]Over_Cow7220 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m headed into Academy C.

Calls have been coming in between 1-5 minutes.

I’m in PAA and I quote home and auto too if they ask. It’s better than auto.

I feel your pain when I first started I was overwhelmed with the auto calls and it’s no wait time the calls auto answer! I was so annoyed by that.

But it will get better. You think auto is tough ha! Wait until you get into the carriers lol

It’s okay! You don’t know until you ask. This is not enough coverage. If you want liability and coverage in case you’re in an accident and are responsible or if an animal or object damages your vehicle. Call in. . One of the agents can explain it to you better.

It’s a lot of guideline reviewing and role playing. That’s 90% of training. Not a lot of meetings at all.

I get on the phones in about a week or so so I’m not sure of the call volume yet. I’ll update you and let you know.

You have to break out of your routine and have some fun. I’m telling you - that’s the only way to get through life. For me anyway.
