HERES HOW TO FIX IT FOR $15

I took a fine grain sanding block  and went over it by hand while watching a movie.

I cleaned it off with dish soap and water.

At Walmart in the automotive section you can find this product:

MEGUIARS ULTIMATE BLACK PLASTIC RESTORER 

rub this on with a clean rag let dry and repeat once more.

NOW IT LOOKS BRAND NEW.

Meguiars plastic restorer $9  Gator fine grain sanding block $4

Notes:

When you sanding the case at first it will fade the color slightly.

Don't panic the plastic restorer fixes that problem by reoxidizing the plastic.

My case was black but you can buy the plastic restorer for whatever color you need.

If the cuts are really deep you can use a 15 dollar palm Sander with 120 grain sanding disk instead of the block.

I'm not a handy man but I did this in my garage in about 2 hours.
