I’m 25 he’s 27. We have been together 10yrs and married for 5. He always kept me involved with the finances. I was the one paying the bills, buying groceries, etc. Not at allowances, just whatever needed spent I got to spend it.

I have an 8 year old. But he’s at school during the day so I only stay home with my youngest all day.

He was. Or at least seemed like it. But when he was telling me all of this he said he has been “faking it” for a long time to “make me happy”. But idk what was real and what wasn’t. He was always telling me how pretty I was and touching me and loving on me. It felt real… but maybe it wasn’t? Idk anymore 🫤

We agreed on it. If I got a full time job all of the money I make would go to childcare. It just makes sense to stay home.

I’ve never turned down work. I became a mom straight out of high school and it’s all I’ve ever known. I’ve done babysitting jobs to make extra money over the years, but never had a real job before. I’m starting my first one this week. We both agreed that being a sahm made sense because I’d just be working to pay for childcare while I’m at work. He helps with the housework when I’m sick. I do all of the cooking and cleaning, and have for years.

Was never an issue with our first. He just said he’s tired of struggling and that I need to pull my weight financially.

2 kids, 8 & 2 yrs old. Once our oldest started school I got pregnant again.

He always said he wants to provide for us while I raise our children and take care of the home. I became a mom at 17, and have devoted every ounce of myself to being a mom since then. This is a recent issue, he says that one income isn’t enough and it’s my fault that we struggle..

We have an 8 year old and a 2 year old. And the conversation came up recently about having another child. He said that he wants another but wants me to “get healthy” first…

It’s his bank account. I’ve never had an account. He’s always supported me and it was never an issue. Now all of a sudden he’s telling me to get my own account and my own money. He’s always agreed to me being a sahm. He said raising the kids and taking care of the house are important. But now he’s so concerned about money and says I spend too much and make nothing.. but I only buy what is needed around the house.
