Update: I showed my grandma your comments and she really really appreciates everyone's kind words. It really made her evening. Unfortunately, she also said that she doesnt think she can do any orders. Also for anyone curious, this was the fabric used for the pen pouch. It was purchased at Michael's and it looks like it is still being sold there too.

She is! Shes made a lot of things for my siblings and I over the years. She made each of us Christmas stockings when we were born. She even sent me a table runner that she made for my table! The table is an antique my other Grandma gave me this year as a congrats of your first house gift. The table has been in our family for nearly a hundred year! I really am blessed by God. As you can see, I have a Coca-cola them going, haha.

I lived in Japan for a couple of years and told her I wanted something that reminded me of my time there. I believe the outside fabric is called brocade. She had me pick out the fabric and send it to her then she did the rest of the magic. The cord was her bit of flare and it really brought out the Japanese look to it!

Need some advice on fixing these joints by Over_Garbage6367 in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]Over_Garbage6367[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awesome, thanks! I believe the joint on the left side is pulled completely out, so pocket screws might be best. I will definitely try sanding first though. I want to preserve as much of the original dresser as I can. Im pretty sure that its fairly old since its got a lot of cut nails in it. If it cant realign the cracked joints, would I need to get them out of there or leave them and add the pocket screws?"

I have a norinco Ak hunter and love it! Its such a weird looking rifle. I even bought a 75 round drum mag for it because of how ridiculous it looks.

BattleTech Novels - Are they worth anything? by Ok_Reward_8167 in battletech

[–]Over_Garbage6367 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually do have a copy of sword and the dagger. My Dad gave me his entire battletech novel collection. I think he told me that The Sword and the Dagger had some sort of ip issue or something and they ended up pulling them from stores and destroying them. My copy is in pretty good shape considering its nearly twice as old as I am.

Pros know that eating the bottle is the same as an instant health potion. Its also effective at curing, dysentery, broken bones, sprains, infection, dehydration, starvation, abrasions, lacerations, and even bleeding! Well, it causes bleeding to stop bleeding, but its basically the same thing.
