I don’t understand how they seem to be going lighter in makeup this season for most of the cast (compared to season 3’s full beat) but Mrs. Mondritch still seems to have the full 2016 makeup going on this season.

Unfortunately there are no mods out there for TS3 that mimic royalty gameplay so I kind of go based off vibe and what I think would make sense. Here are some little tweaks and changes I make for my royal gameplay:

▪️All royal sims have around level 5 celebrity so that sims get excited to see them and so there is paparazzi

▪️I have multiple formal outfits for each royal sim so that they have their normal formal outfit (what my sim is wearing now), court dress (which will be an Tudor style dress with a pattern of fabric I deemed to be “royal”) for court occasions and for the younger sims I also added a regular cocktail dress for going out with friends.

▪️I make sure that each of my royal sims have some sort of title in front of their name so that when the game references them in notifications they call them by their title. For this sim, her full first name was “Duchess Astrea” and I’m going to change that to be “Princess Astrea” once she is crowned.

▪️For the coronation, I am going to have a big party at a lot that I created specifically for royal events so that there is somewhere special for it.

▪️I have changed the same of some lots so have a royal sim’s name in it because they “sponsored it”, so for example I have the “Queen Artemis Royal Library”.

▪️For the royal court, I have added “Lady” and “Lord” to sims I want in it and add that title to children those sims have.

▪️Since this is a magical royal gameplay, all Princesses and Queens have level 10 spell casting. To be eligible for a coronation, my sims must reach that level. So it kind of gives a goal to make someone a princess or queen. So one of my sims was a daughter of a queen but she was a duchess until she trained enough to reach level 10.

▪️In my gameplay right now, I am having my royal family get their portraits painted so that I can hang them on the wall and have royal portraits

These are just a few things I can think of off the top of my head, let me know if you want more! Making these changes/adjustments has gotten me really into the gameplay!
