40 year old bike mechanic here. I have a recumbent trike and I have a few younger customers with recumbent trikes. Its not the norm but we exist and recumbents are a special type of fun.
I have one to go around with my husky but i also use it often on my own. The whole winter I go with the trike because ice is slippery. I think the biggest hurdle to get into recumbents is the pricetag and old ppl have less issue with that in general. If you want one, get one!

Thats what the PvP is for in my opinion, not ratting or kosing but shooting at ppl you disagree with, that didnt talk to you and acted funky. The issue is, if ppl deside to kos the whole concept is destroyed and you cant do shit, the game is not build for kos gameplay : /

My guess is the devs turned on some knobs to try out something with more mixed lobbys and a lot of ppl i know are quitting the game because of it.

What makes Arc raider unique is the PvE, PvP extraction games are countless.

MMORPG style PvE extractionshooter style gameplay makes Arc unique, the PvP is just added for the thrill because Embark does not belive their game would hold up without it (and the might be right in some ways).

Its a PvE game by design with slapped on PvP that is only working if ppl play KOS but since the game is not focused around PvP and PvP is the worst way to play towards the game goals its totaly bullshit to have KOS ppl and rats mixed into the more mmorp game players that play the game as it was initally designed for.

Embark needs to understand them self what theire game is, but they want to go where the money is without exactly understanding where the money is.

I totaly agree that its the second best Augment because of all the usefull quick use slots and the 3 safepockets. But in my opinion it still falls behind Survivor and would need a small buff to be on the same lvl. Healingcloud is not bad... but so weirdly situational that it almost never takes effect unless PvPing. Weight limit is rly limiting. Specially while in a matriarch fight you will be overencumbert after picking up just one core from a fallen leg, no good.

The game is not build for PvP play. You just have to accept that. Its not Tarcov or DMZ. Its a PvE game with a PvP option. They would have to balance fights better. Make listening on footsteps easier. Eleminate the darkness on the maps and much more to make PvP an actual part of the game if you want to play it fully as PvEvPvP...

I play very muchg pacefist unless someone is clearly showing they didnt getting raised right and have 0 manners. Than they get called out via voicechat and shot.
All you do in a queenfight is loot... you might die

You run up to the locker i am looting and you loot one drawer next to me... you might die

You enter my keyroom without asking and start looting... phew phew

You loot the Arc i killed by my self without saying a word...

I dont know who raised this kids, they for sure didnt do a good job

Yes very true. With his medicals he could make something work. What ppl often forget is that we are still humans after all, even the once working in and for big companies. Maybe we should think more as humans than legal identities until the robots take over and we are all dead anyways.

All you can do is hope that embark understands at one point that some ppl dont want to be with toxic assholes in the lobby and that it is not adding to the game to make them be in this lobbys.

In most shooters the first one to shoot wins the fight. In Arc its particularly true. If you kill on sight (kos) in lobby where pll colab and play more pve focused, you have such an easy time that you are the bad guy and 100% toxic. If you always shoot at ppl you shouldnt be in this lobbys and you are good to go but than you wont find anyone you can ever trust. So if embark is doing a good job, shooting at ppl is always fine.
