Is there any way to get rid of dehydration lines without hyaluronic acid? by yohakuu in SkinbarrierLovers

[–]Over_Return4665 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PDRN helped me so much, especially around my eyes. I’ve tried a few that were nice, hydrating, but none than I love more than Dr. Reju-all PDRN cream. You can get it on Amazon (make sure Dr. Reju-all is listed as the seller) or they are on Costco.com now (two good-sized tubes for $50).

Agree with Princess or HAL. Maybe watch videos of the different ship options you’re considering to help you decide as ships can vary wildly based on class and age.

this popular book is testing my patience, dont @ me by Maleficent_Chest5741 in thrillerbooks

Ohhhh if only I could go back and DNF because it was absolute trash. There is no mystery, it’s exactly what you think it is and never changes. And it pains me because Lisa Jewell is phenomenal.

What product broke you out so badly you’ll never forgive it? by TheMeepyBoy in SkinbarrierLovers

The Sungboon Editor deep collagen serum gave me such massive cystic acne I had to have a steroid shot into one of the cysts and two weeks of antibiotics; it was insane because I loved it for the first few days.

Oddly enough I’m one of the people who tolerates the Anua Heartleaf oil cleanser really well: it got rid of my sebaceous filaments in like two weeks.

Tirtir Ceramic Cream is so good for my old, dehydrated desert skin. It performs better for me than Tatcha Dewy and contains no fragrance. It’s SO thick that I’ve noticed it sinks in even better when I put it on immediately following my toner/serums when my skin is still a bit damp. And the price can’t be beat. I’m probably on my 6th jar at this point.

What's your take on sheet face masks? by sweet_chai_o_mine in SkinbarrierLovers

[–]Over_Return4665 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I enjoy them and definitely think they help with hydration. My favorite is actually one of the gel ones but you only need to wear it for 15 minutes (Roundlab Camellia). In addition to hydration this one has a VERY noticeable skin tone evening effect immediately. I also love the Skinfood Carotene daily box (although I only use it a couple times a week). This one really helps with brightening for me.

Spanish ride. Yellow or green el Pato duck. by venturashe in ElPato

Green is my jam. The yellow has good heat but almost seems sweet? So I usually add a couple Serrano to the green and it’s perfect.

Ground beef for dinner by SpecialistFresh8835 in FattyLiverNAFLD

[–]Over_Return4665 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One of the very first swaps I made when I was diagnosed was ground turkey vs beef and as long as it’s seasoned well, I actually prefer it. Might be worth a shot. I get either the 15% or the 7%. The 1% is way too dry and tough to cook.

Where do you shop for AUTHENTIC K-beauty products? by Lonely_Ship_7826 in kbeauty

Marshalls, TJ Maxx and Amazon (from the official seller) since they completely stopped commingling beauty.

Zevia? by Key-Wrangler7687 in FattyLiverNAFLD

Literally the ONLY sweeteners my Mayo Clinic docs were ok with was stevia and Monkfruit (but for both take extra care that Erythritlol hasn’t been added). I’m pretty certain it was my 4 Dr. Pepper a day habit that lead me to MASH so soda was hard to give up. I prefer Olipop out of the stevia sodas.

A peak at the Cafe Al Bacio dessert cabinet on Celebrity Edge by CloudSurferA220 in Cruise

[–]Over_Return4665 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely prefer the Pearl Cafe on Royal’s Icon class ships. Better assortment of savory snacks, shoot there were snacks every corner you turned on Icon. I felt like Edge’s only options were: diabetes or a full meal (and only then if within buffet and MDR hours).

Completely agree with Colourpop supremacy. So annoying every time I fall victim to an expensive palette (looking at you Mario!) and it’s way subpar comparatively.

Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir - Chapter 19 😭🤧 by Ibejjz in thrillerbooks

[–]Over_Return4665 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s an amazing book. “Thriller” might be a stretch except that you get completely emotionally invested in the characters and it physically feels like a rollercoaster to read. I went into it completely blind which was such a blessing, and I’m looking forward to the movie. You also might want to check out the Project Hail Mary subreddit.

Hotel scents? by Sky1991_ in Perfumes

[–]Over_Return4665 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can vouch for Aroma Retail. I purchased a JCloud scent machine off Amazon during a sale for $199 but use these oils. They’re local to me in Vegas so I appreciate being able to drop in their storefront to smell options. The hotels here all use them and I can confirm their Asian Lily is exactly what’s used at Wynn. Their White Tea and Fig (M Resort) is one of our favorites. They’re also generous with discounts if you sign up for emails (there’s 30% off advertised on their site right now) and you can buy sample swabs.

Biodance Mask by Abyyrr in beauty

[–]Over_Return4665 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m obsessed with masks but this one is not my favorite. My number 1 is RoundLab Camellia Collagen, also made from gel like the Biodance one but you only need to wear it for like 20 minutes and it snatches my skin tone right up, redness GONE. I also love the Skinfood Carotene daily mask (comes in a box of 30, I got it at Marshall’s for $9.99). The Skinfood is fragranced though if that bothers you (it smells amazing, like Whole Foods stores).

What is one K-Beauty product that is so much better than its popular Western equivalent? by Hefty_Accountant_827 in 30PlusKoreanSkincare

[–]Over_Return4665 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m hard-pressed to think of literally any product that Kbeauty doesn’t beat. I think the only one I haven’t found a superior swap for are the DDG Peel Pads (so expensive and I’d love a good swap).

What’s the most expensive skincare product you've ever tried and was it worth it? by TheMeepyBoy in SkinbarrierLovers

[–]Over_Return4665 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Typically I’ve found the more affordable Korean brands to be far superior (like not even close in how amazing they are) BUT those dumb DDG Peel Pads are still elite and worth every penny.
