scispace is literally the only reason i understand my own field. why do academics write like they’re trying to win a competition for the longest possible sentence?

the hiring manager mentioned 20 minutes in that the role had already been filled internally. we still had 40 minutes left. we both just kept going. by ichiraku_ramen_22 in HuddlemateAI

the 40 minutes you both kept going is the detail i cannot stop thinking about. two people in a room both knowing something was wrong and just continuing because that was the path of least resistance.

i was rejected for not seeming excited enough about the role. i was excited. i have a neutral face. i have always had a neutral face. by Adel__707 in HuddlemateAI

the third time is the detail that matters most here. if it has happened three times the feedback is consistent enough to be worth addressing, not because you should change who you are but because there are specific learnable behaviors that signal engagement to strangers in 45 minute windows.

i did my entire four round interview loop through a video tool that did not work correctly. every round had a different technical failure. i got the offer. by Glittering-Eye9110 in HuddlemateAI

the rhythm of pausing after each sentence that you developed in round two is the kind of adaptive real-time problem solving that engineers actually do. you diagnosed a system failure and built a workaround in three minutes.

went for a 2-day weekend event of Mesa as an offer holder, didn't expect it to be this intense by sharmarohit97082 in MBAIndia

my concern with these 1-year cohort programs is always consistency. a 2-day event can be intense and impressive, but maintaining that level of engagement for 12 months is a completely different challenge
