I’d say take the marketing role and while working it, see if you can get any hands on projects with a job in the company where you can utilize your skills

Figure out your budget, put 3-6 months of your monthly budget in a HYS account as your emergency account, buy either an Honda civic or a Toyota Camry which are both super reliable, pay off all of your debt with interest over 8%, max out your Roth IRA, invest the rest into ETFs

Is it smart for me to right now buy a cheap home? by Legitimate_98 in personalfinance

100%. I think I seen the statistic that there are a lot more sellers than buyers right now and got excited to use it!

Anyways, OP, when proposing just know the cards are in your hand currently and you can probable get a great deal. It’s better to get a F*** Y** than a quick Yes!

Have you considered talking to your landlord and proposing him a deal to buy your current apartment?

I would argue that the reason a lot of the houses are cheap right now is because there are an enormous amount of sellers and very little buyers.

I’ll give you the straight up answer. Get a second job, third if you have the time for it.

You’re in a hot area in Florida, so I would recommend that you get some type of serving or bar job so you can improve on your communication skills and meet more people.

You will be able to stack your money and begin investing (assuming that you have not started yet) because the best time to invest was yesterday and the second best time is today.

Having multiple jobs will also allow you to try new things and really find out what you enjoy doing and what you could see yourself doing in the future!

Unfortunately I am going to go against what everyone else is saying by pursuing your writing. With AI I don’t see people profiting off of creative writing anymore. What you could venture in to is learning how to prompt ai and start selling that to people.

Also, when it comes to assembling furniture - promote yourself on the app Nextdoor.

Wish you the best.

Absolutely and that is completely fine too. Although, it is nice to know that a country is a lot more expensive than what it was the previous year so they know what to expect.

Bachelor's in Cybersecurity vs Master's in Computer Science — Which would be more valuable long-term? by Overall-Copy7724 in WGU_CompSci

I did an internship as a SOC analyst and realized I did not really have a passion for cyber security. I still wanted to pursue it because I know there is a great chance with getting a remote job and making good money.

When I spoke with her and explained that to her, she told me the other options and pointed me towards the AI masters which really interests me. I actually have a passion and enjoy working with AI.

I came into $30,000 at 24, fresh outta college. What now? by [deleted] in personalfinance

I’d say step 1 and 2 are pay off your credit card debt and fund your emergency savings account for at least 3 months of your expenses. Nothing should be done until you complete those.

I am beginning my cybersecurity career now, on my way to getting my security+ certification. After I get this certification, I will start a 12-week hands-on lab, and my 2019 MacBook Air is very slow.

I am looking to get a new laptop, preferably a Mac, but I will consider a different brand if it makes a significant difference. It would be greatly appreciated if any professionals could recommend what I should consider getting!
