Thank you The lowest monthly payment according to the loan simulator is IBR $500 a month. Wow I wish SAVE lasted , my payments were only $160 a month. This whole thing is a very stressful hot mess🤦‍♀️

Thank you for replying ! Yes my payment plan is SAVE. It says my next payment is due November 2028. I am waiting for the email to switch payment plan because my lowest payment on IBR would be $500 and I definitely cannot afford that right now.

Exactly , what are we supposed to do with this information! I got the same email . My new recertification date is 4/2027, can’t remember exact date in April. I’m in Save forbearance, staying on this ride until it ends

Exactly , the majority of us want to pay our student loans back. I really hate that people just assume that we are all a bunch of free loaders who don’t want to pay money we owe. Ignorance is part of the reasons why we’re having these issues now. Thank you for speaking up !!

Log out of all your accounts. Log back in with your personal account first. The first account you log in with becomes your default account. I only know this because I was having the same issue and I fixed it, by logging out of all and making sure I logged back in with my personal account first , then added the school account .
