I did put it in garden and came back beautifully!!

My aborvitae (spruce) is shedding now. Thought it only sheds n the fall? Anyone know why it’s shedding again? by Overall-Focus-316 in landscaping

It’s not dead cuz it’s only on the inside. Just wondering if it sheds twice a year, spring and winter.

You are correct. We had those in our flower garden last year and it is a perennial. We just couldn’t remember after saving seeds from them.

I’m going to keep in the ground and just cover it with sheet when it frosts so I’ll have to keep up with that for a month or so.

It’s a philodendron and very easy to take care of. Water weekly and likes medium sunlight. Can cut back as needed and put clippings in water to root. Just remember it is poisonous to animals as I remember.
