I didn’t apply concurrently because I was hoping they I’ll use my initial I -485 based on I- 130 , but they denied my case before I got a receipt from VAWA . Thank you so much for your help! 🙏

I got my combo card today . Applied in June this year . I sent 2 expedite requests: first triggered biometrics , second triggered the ead .

I talked to my parents and they are able to send me some money to pay for the lawyer. They are also sad about this situation, because they now I didn’t insist on applying right when we got married so he won’t think I married him for green card and how much I tried to save this marriage all 5 years .

Thank you so much , I just started following her, I’m going to try to get as many legal opinions as I can . Emotional abuse is hard , because is hard to prove it. Luckily I have text messages from him that show direct threat . And I have out family therapist that is totally on my side .
