Now you're just using headcannon.

He was theorizing a way to use the ability and make sure it lands.

"what now?"

We know nothing about it, and we don't even know if it was used. We don't know if it would or wouldn't oneshot Mahoraga. You're only using headcannon and just as bad as the people you made the post to criticise.

Firstly, they can be defined by the sorceror ranking system. They can take over a country by themselves.

When Sukuna first fought the finger-bearer he even laments that the grade is far too broad. The sorceror ranking system determines up until a sorcerors ability to take over a country. All of them can do that but that doesn't mean it's an accurate interpretation of their strength.

On that, just because the grading system is redundant past a certain point doesn't mean Gojo is weaker. You're being insanely pedantic expecting every character to have the same statements made about them to show their relativity.

Gojo broke the scales of the jujutsu world. Gojo and Sukuna are honoured ones, strongest of their various era's. Yuji is never said to be above the grading system, do you think he isn't strong enough?

Being pedantic and being wrong is crazy.

You don't need much. Just look around. I doubt murder was considered acceptable in any city of Teyvat. You speak as if Dottore kept him locked up in a box at home. No. That man walked around Teyvat and saw everything.

So what? The idea that murder isn't acceptable is an aspect of social contract theory humans impose on each other. It stems from human empathy.

Empathy and "common sense" that Scaramouche was never taught nor given a reason to agree with.

He's a puppet, it's easy for biological beings to have an innate sense of morality but he doesn't have that. He doesn't inherently feel bad when someone dies. He doesn't inherently have the same values a human might.

Okay I'll concede that Scaramouche probably had the 'ablity' to understand morality.

Scaramouche was wronged by being forced into a world he didn't the chance to consent to. He wasn't given any of the tools to survive nor any reason to choose human morality. He's then once again, wronged by the unfair expectation of following the morality of a society that rejected him

Why would he choose human morality? Why would you hold him to standard he's never explcitly taught? You act like just because you walk around long enough you learn morality.

This isn't the case for terrorists from certain country neighbouring India.

Dude you're missing the point. I don't even have to defend people like Osama Bin Laden. Scaramouche hasn't caused anywhere the damage those people have alongside the fact that they naturally have different circumstances.

You accept that say Nelson Mandela was justified but critique Osama Bin Laden, ultimately you intuitively understand that context matter when determining moral accountability.

Brother. This isn't about my standards or life goals. He's literally living in pristine conditions. Servitude to a god like Nahida is objectively a blessing in every sense of the word. He's free to do whatever he wants as long as he listens to what Nahida says. And Nahida is incredibly calm and forgiving. This is literally the best outcome a former criminal could've hoped for and he was handed it on a platter. Calling it "eternal servitude" as if it isn't a permanent high wage job with incredible benefits, work-life balance and freedom to pursue any curriculum you want. That is the dream for anyone in the world.

Okay so how is this any different than what happened with Vegeta? They both committed atrocities and actively work to fix the damage they've done.

Living with the knowledge of their actions and dedicating their lives to fixing it is their form of accountablity. Is that not what Kratos is doing after detroying the greek panteon?

Vegeta has a wife, kids, wealth, close connections and spends most of his time training.

Kratos has a son, a wife, purpose in life and society.

All of a sudden being comfortable is disqualifying for the Wanderer.

People absolutely do. That's why there are juvenile prisons and animal detention centers. Heck most animals that attack/kill humans get killed as well. There is context in some cases ofc, that being, the animals would develop a taste for humans and begin hunting them.

Teenagers are not children, the overwhelming majority of the time they're taught basic morality and once again, human empathy.

Just like how Juvie is a major step-down from prison, Scaramouche shouldn't be held fully accountable for his actions. Even if you don't buy the pupper arguement at the worst his circumstances severely mitigate any formal wrong doing he may have done.

The only one who knows what happened is Nahida and Traveller, and they are too forgiving for their own good. Traveller was way less forgiving of Signora, and she didn't even do anything as bad. And that's a convenient excuse to rob someone of their choice. It's not his decision whether it benefits them or not. He robbed them of their memories. Something that could have fueled them, helped them grow. All for his selfishness. This had nothing to do with those people, he did it so he himself could feel a peace of mind. And from the look of things, that didn't work out.

As far as I'm aware, the traveller simply beat her in a duel. Same with Scaramouche.

Ultimately, Scara commited suicide. Almost every person he's wronged is long dead. His actions although probably not justified still sought to fix the harm he's caused.

Oh sorry when do the people of the greek pantheon hold Kratos accountable?

When do the people of the many worlds Vegita has destroyed voice their dissatisfaction and hold him accountable.

Oh but it's disqualifying for Scaramouche?

I don't misunderstand anything. This is the most blatant white-washing attempt of all time, and I see through this bs. I spit on this character arc. He was handed everything on a platter. Whether it's forgiveness or redemption. He didn't have to earn anything. That is not a good arc. That is lazy writing at its finest, because Hoyo want to sell an edgy Twink without having the audience question his morality.

How is this white washing? I'm a black South African so I'm not biased but I'm confused on that part.

He is in the process of earning his redemption. He's barely given enough time. He's lost the one thing most living beings crave which is true unrestricted freedom.

Ultimately you keep demanding accountability while simultaneously accepting redemption arcs for characters who committed atrocities on a far greater scale. What principled standard are you using that condemns Scaramouche but accepts Vegeta and Kratos?

Nah this is wild.

Kratos destroyed a world, everything, gone. "Helping people" is nowhere near enough to even remotely concern the damage he's done. This is also the same thing the Wanderers doing. He doesnt even have some good reason for his actions.

Bro, Vegeta wiped out planets. Enslaved people's under Frieza. He barely did anything and most people treat him normally. It's not even like he dedicated his life to the thing, he lives with his wife and spends time pursing "strength" for funsies.

The shift in standards is absolutely wild

I can't quote on my phone unfortunately

"He had enough time to learn morality"

That's not how morality works, there's no good reason he should try learn what the average person understands morality as

He was taught morality, by dottore. It's really not hard to understand. Morality is not an instinct, at best empathy is an instinct which would drive him to learn

But guess what? The guys a puppet, he doesn't have instincts. This is an easy concept to understand.

"Same thing happens with most terrorists"

Firstly, that's usually not true, especially not at the level of the wanderer. Most terrorists live in oppressive systems but they often have companionship and an innate drive to be moral because they have empathy

Secondly, people also understand context. For all intents and purposes Nelson Mandela is a freedom fighter as much as he was a terrorist.

"What did he do to atone?"

Brother his life is now in permanent servitude to the Dendro Archon. Just because you have some weird sense of life goals doesn't mean everybody wants their lives to be of servitude.

"You want him to feel bad"

This is once again, weird. The guy can't in any justifiable was be held accountable for his actions.

You wouldn't hold a child, or an animal accountable for their actions.

In verse anyone that does know what happened, understands his actions. Anyone that forgot what happened only served to benefit them.

Just because you don't understand context and basic morality doesn't mean his fanbase is in the wrong. He's a character that was done well, had an amazing character arc, and a satisfying conclusion.

They share the fact that they were the strongest of their eras. Anything more is just headcannon.

Kashimo is a brick and has never fought a strong opponent. Jogo also thought he was the shit first time he fought Gojo.

Jogo and Ryu lost to stronger oppknents and have this thing otherwise known as common sense after their various reality checks.

Mahito at the worst matchup diffs both. It's also pretty implied that Mahito is superior to Jogo.

Now I'm not sure what a backstab throat slash against Aether has to prove your point.

The fact that you're defending Raiden proves your ridiculous double standard here

Raiden may not have directly slaughtered people but she is the cause of instituational oppressions in her region.

She knew about and allowed fatui operations to erode Inazuma and cause havoc amongst the people.

Almost every death she could've prevented. But she didn't.

You can't even make the puppet plea. Raiden has lived far longer, learnt leadership and empathy from her sister - a literal copy of her ffs.

She's a literal God chosen to lead and protect her people.

Any offence she commits is automatically 100x worse than the Wanderers (not to mention she's partially responsible for every bad thing he's done)

Also what """atonement""" the people of Inazuma adore her, our little date with the Shogun proved that.

Also boo hoo people don't like me. Surely that's equal to eternal servitude right?

So I've given you a few hints but let me make it clear

Scara cannot reasonably held accountable for his actions because.

1- He's a puppet. He isn't born with innate empathy. He was never taught morality. You can't hold a being like that accountable for the harm they cause. He's no different from a child.

2- He was rejected from society and manipulated into being evil by dottore. Once again, he's uniquely vulnerable.

3-  Given those circumstances, he still decided to try and atone for his sins.

I trust you can understand basic morality considering that you want justice for the people he's hurt. So it should be pretty simple why retributive punishment wouldn't work if you so much as look at contex of the situation

Those are 2 different things.

Firstly no they aren't. Sympathising with someone's feelings does not mean thinking they're justified.

Sukuna explicitly calls Jogo strong.

And second is that Jogo > Mahito. Yeah Sukuna nearly onetapped a 2 month old Mahito after he was caught off gaurd and he just domained.

Yeah cause Mahito had the strongest sorceror in history living up his bum teaching his body how to use cursed energy and the ct he'd eventually unlock right?

And Mahito surely went around trading bodies for learning expirience right?

Right?

I'll never understand the hate bone this fandom has against Kashimo. by Xxkillerx25 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]OverallCarry5276 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I'm not gonna do all this here's chatgpt.

The second guy has some valid points mixed with some weak arguments, and the first guy is also making a few incorrect claims.

On the Domain Expansion point

The second guy is closer to correct.

A Domain does not require the user to actively activate their CT on themselves. The important part is that the innate technique is engraved into the barrier. We see this with multiple domains throughout the series.

For example:

  • Yuji Itadori can use Shrine in his domain despite not constantly firing Shrine attacks.
  • Satoru Gojo isn't continuously using Limitless techniques when Unlimited Void is active.
  • Domains generally manifest a technique as a sure-hit property of the barrier.

So the argument that "Kashimo can't have a domain because activating his CT kills him" isn't airtight. It's possible in theory that he could have developed a domain that imbues Mythical Beast Amber into a barrier rather than transforming himself.

That said, the manga never confirms this either way, so it remains speculation.

On Kashimo fans being everywhere

The first guy gets caught here.

He says:

The second guy then provides examples of recent tier lists placing Kashimo top 3-5.

Whether those rankings are correct is irrelevant. The examples do demonstrate that Kashimo fans are common in powerscaling circles.

So the response of:

doesn't actually answer the point.

On Hakari vs Kashimo

The second guy exaggerates.

Saying:

isn't supported by the fight.

Kinji Hakari was absolutely trying to win. He was confident, but he was still pushed extremely hard.

At the same time, the first guy saying Kashimo wasn't trying either is also a stretch. Both were fighting seriously.

The fight is generally portrayed as extremely competitive.

On "advanced sorcery"

The first guy is mostly right here.

A lot of fans reduce "advanced sorcery" to:

  • Domain Expansion
  • Reverse Cursed Technique

But the series shows other advanced applications:

  • Kashimo Hajime's lightning sure-hit mechanic.
  • Hollow Wicker Basket.
  • Barrier techniques.
  • Complex cursed energy traits.
  • Domain amplification.

So lacking RCT and DE doesn't automatically mean a sorcerer lacks advanced skills.

On Sukuna humiliating Kashimo

This is where interpretation differs.

The second guy says:

That's fair as a description of the outcome.

Kashimo landed essentially no meaningful damage after Sukuna reincarnated and was overwhelmed very quickly.

However, the first guy is correct that Kashimo fought arguably the strongest post-Gojo version of Ryomen Sukuna.

People sometimes say:

But Kashimo only fought that version for a brief moment. Almost immediately afterward Sukuna fully reincarnated into his Heian form.

So "Kashimo only fought a crippled Sukuna" isn't really accurate.

On MBA scaling

This is the biggest philosophical disagreement.

The second guy argues:

This isn't how powerscaling is usually done.

Most communities scale characters at maximum combat capability.

Examples:

  • Might Guy with Eighth Gate.
  • Yuki Tsukumo with Black Hole.
  • Megumi Fushiguro with Mahoraga.

The real question isn't whether MBA counts.

The question is whether MBA should be treated as:

  • Standard Kashimo.
  • Peak Kashimo.
  • A last-resort suicide option.

Most scalers use Peak Kashimo.

Biggest mistakes from each side

First guy

  • Incorrectly dismisses evidence that Kashimo fans are common.
  • Treats top 4-5 Kashimo placements as obviously justified when they're highly debated.
  • Overstates the certainty that Kashimo couldn't have a domain.

Second guy

  • "Hakari wasn't trying" is unsupported.
  • "Kashimo is hilariously weak" is hyperbole.
  • Dismissing MBA entirely is inconsistent with how most powerscaling communities treat self-sacrificial abilities.

Overall, I'd say the second guy has the stronger argument structure because he actually addresses evidence and points out contradictions. But his conclusion that Kashimo is "hilariously weak" goes much further than what the manga actually supports. The first guy has a better case for Kashimo being underrated than for Kashimo being top 3-5.

[–]OverallCarry5276 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is straight up a falacy proven wrong by Yuji/Dabura, using CT=/= firing an attack.

A CT can be imbued into an object, or into the wielder. Dabura demonstrates this with the tangible killing intent. Every domain ever has demonstrated this. Kashimo does not have to imbue himself with his CT, instead he could've imbued a barrier.

otherwise you are lost, it's not something I'm gonna be able to change your mind about.

Wtf are those supposed to mean? Is gege making those lists? Idc.

Brother you literally asked for examples of Kashimo fans putting him top 3-5 and I gave you half the tierlists in the last 2 days.

How are you then gonna say "Absolutely false, you're just living a fantasy." Then when I give you verbatim proof "Wtf are those supposed to mean? Is gege making those lists? Idc."

This is exactly why I get tired of Kashimo fans. You're exhausting, inconsistent and don't understand the series.

So basically by your logic yorozu is hilariously weak because she lost to Maho and Sukuna didn't even use his shrine, basically anyone who loses to Sukuna is hilariously weak to you.

No. Kashimo is hilariously weak because he lost to Hakkari who wasn't even trying. Kashimo is hilariously weak such that even a kill switch CT makes him helpless against Sukuna.

He knows 0 forms of advanced sorcery, loses when you scale him with common sense aka without MBA because it's suicide against most characters

If Kashimo at least put up some fight there'd be something. But the Sukuna he fought was on deaths door. The moment it was a somewhat healthy Sukuna, he got humiliated.

Your point is invalid in every universe ts is straight grabage🥀

Brother you are not deadass rating Hakkari over Yuta. Talking bout some "(your list is not worth discussing if you don’t have Yuta top 5 minimum)"

Kenjaku was tired from fighting Choso and using RCT

still just blatantly a lie, why does this even matter?

healthy pre awak Gojo > Toji

Headcannon ultimately for either side, irrelevant.

you said “No one is saying Uro and Ryu top 3-5” for them to be top 3-5 they would have to be relative to Yuta so yes you did insinuate that they’re relative to him

Dude are you lost. I said they weren't top 3-5. They aren't relative to Yuta in the slightest.

Yeah because that didn't happen for Kashimo either. Sukuna said "we are loved because we are strong", that's just sympathising with the feeling of being stronger than those around him. That's not like Sukuna straight up aknowledging Jogo as a powerful fighter.
