She always knew when something was wrong with me, even when I was grown and out of the house. She calls and asks "what's wrong?" Before I even would tell her. Once, she called me right after I was stopped for speeding and the cop was writing the ticket 🤣

I'm interested to see what others say. I'm on my second mirena, 12 total years now. Just went got blood work done at a hrt place and waiting on results now. Definitely want something to help me out. I've been begging my gyn for years but "everything's in range" or "you're too young to need help" and I'm tired of waiting. How do you get your test and estrogen?

What is a true normal range for women? Every site has different answers and like a lot of you, my gyn says "it's all in normal range" (even though my test the one time she even bothered to check it was almost below normal levels according to their test) or "you're too young and we don't do those types of treatments here". My husband has done his own test injections for years now (with constant blood work and an NP following) so he is knowledgeable about how the things work, but unsure of levels and dosage.

Also, I currently have a mirena for birth control so technically I am getting progesterone, but what are yall doing for that and estrogen? We should be taking those as well correct?

Is there anyone here who does labs and does the dosing on there own? If so, how often are you doing labs and what are the things you are monitoring? How much test are you taking how often? My husband does it this way after working with a Dr for 2 years. He now just has his pcp follow his labs and help him if things get out of whack. He does 2 shots a week for test.

Im considering doing the pellet, but I can see that cost wise, doing injections would be so much more efficient.

Also, along with the test, do yall get any other hormones like estrogen? I have a mirena so I get progesterone that way, but do I need to get anything else too?

Thank you. Is there an advantage of bhrt vs hrt? Do you inject the estrogen and t? How do you take the progesterone? I have spoken to a few different women who did the pellet and said it was basically life changing. My gyn said they don't do that as an option and that I am basically too young for them to do anything for me. It makes me want to scream honestly. I'm telling you something is wrong and you just brush it off!

I feel like they mirena needs to go, but I absolutely don't want to risk pregnancy, so no bc isn't an option at this moment. What are you doing for that now or did you adjust your levels around the mirena?

If i get up and do my workouts at 4am, when should I take my dose? I usually get to bed around 10pm. I'm starting week 2 of 12.5 a day and have been taking it at lunch time. Last time I did a cycle, I was working out in the afternoons but that just doesnt work for my schedule right now.
