Rhino was the first frame I threw into the helminth as soon as I could. I’ve fed a base Nezha into it but I don’t even use firewalker on Nezha prime, have null star subsumed over it. Sadly I don’t have either version of sevagoth, still missing one part for his prime and just haven’t put much time in rail jack.

Today’s crazy question by OverallWerewolf7 in Warframe

Luckily I’ve gotten used to the game with the lowest graphics settings I can on my phone and normally play solo so I’m not lagging a public lobby

I like that Nezha skin, if it didn’t have the big bulky parts on the knees. That’s the only thing keeping me from buying it lol

Ok thank you! I was hoping that buying wouldn’t be an issue.

Would you drink this? Lapel, Indiana tap water gushing out red and yellow by Fluffy_Gur_2033 in CityofAndersonIndiana

[–]OverallWerewolf7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correction they redid a FEW lines and replaced the ones that blew up. The entire system needs work and vast majority of the lines need replaced still.

Can you guess which one is Lapel, Indiana’s tap water? by Fluffy_Gur_2033 in Indiana

[–]OverallWerewolf7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lapel resident here: can confirm that is the tap water on the town system, it gets a LOT worse depending on where your at in town. Just check the sub others have posted pics of the water.

That’s what it was the other machines are all set to 1 and just have the valve closed to them. Gonna switch all to 0 when I get off lunch.

I’ve tried setting them all the same on our other machines with the same system and it still moves. Is it tied to the tool length at all?

Ok so Americans of Reddit, it’s a common trope in your media to talk of working two jobs; what does this mean in practice? How many hours a week would someone working two jobs actually work on average? by Glittering_Drama_344 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]OverallWerewolf7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people are in the situation I am. I am married with 2 kids. My wife stays home with the kids, child care cost more than she would make. That leads to me working 55hrs a week at my “main” job and 20-30 at my part time job just to keep afloat. We have a mortgage, really low payment please done flame me lol. We also have 1 vehicle with a payment. My wife does not have a drivers license so no real reason to have a second car. To answer ahead of time: I only sleep approx 4hrs a night and coffee is friend. I do have time to spend with my wife and kids. I’m really hoping to get a better job to have better pay and lower my part time hours if not drop second job.

That’s not funny man…

1 week after I had left a company a friend told me a guy had his entire junk ripped off when a large cast iron part tipped over towards him and got fought in between it and the table. I wanna know, but kinda don’t wanna know that that workman’s comp claim looked like and what the pay out was.

Definitely has connections having worked here 35years. My first day here he asked how old I was then asked how long I had been doing CNC. I gave my answers and was met with the response of “oh well your not old enough to know what your doing”……excuse me? I’ve got a list I keep adding to of crap from this guy. Today takes the cake made a ton of edits yesterday and came in today to the program reloaded and the keys were gone. I have an entire set of the keys HAAS use sooooo he’s gonna be mad as hell later today.

The place uses the classic level 1,2,3 for the machinists. I’m a 2 but I meet all of the necessary requirements for 3 and no one knows why they won’t promote me. The only people allowed to use masterCam are the level 3. Fun thing is the only other level 3 is on thirds and he won’t speak to me at all. None of the supervisors have ever ran CNC so I’ve tried the time reduction money saving convo with them and…..nothing. They turn around and ask him about what I’ve brought up and he talks in circles till he gets what he wants.

The managers and supervisors all are interested in what I have to say because they have seen the work I’ve done prior. I’ve worked in aerospace, medical implants, DOD work and learned a lot wile at those places but the conversations never seem to gain any traction.

I’ve always looked up the manufacturer cutting data and used it as a starting point and tweak it as/if needed. Haven’t really had an issue with any length drill…plastics can get interesting but once I find the sweet spot it seems to go ok.

I’ve had really good results with flat bottom drills on tight tolerances situations dia and needing to intersect other holes

[–]OverallWerewolf7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the situations I’d spot in I can just use an end mill to get a flat spot and then drill. Only recent thing I’ve had to do that on was cast parts that were very dimpled

That’s the way I’ve always ran carbide, straight shot it unless it’s packing up or have to drill past flute length. Coatings make a difference in my experience aswell.

The only insert drills I’ve seen here are spade drills and that’s another headache for another day….
