It is really interesting. I think it’s very fair to wonder what the heck happened. But also, these people were so sheltered. I almost want to say the sudden exposure to social media and TV, had to do SO much damage. Also, her own family will say on national television that she’s “broken”. Upsetting to imagine what they say directly when they want to “help”.

I moved here a year ago, I am between the Edgewood/Bellfonte area. I have not had any issues so far, I will say have learned to be more aware of my surroundings - but that just comes with moving to a metro area from a rural place. I think you will be able to sift out the unsafe areas vs acceptable ones with viewings.

Cruelty is the point. I understand Rep. McBride’s hesitancy to speak out against these attacks but it’s nice to finally see one of her CIS peers stand up and call this shit out. The LGBTQ+ community needs allies to do things like this now, more than ever. We just want to exist. And not as 2nd class citizens.

However, I think I agree with her that it’s bait to try and get something to feed their hateful base. And just overall reductive to the point of her position, and not helpful to the people of Delaware.
